## What is Tablekin?

Meals planned around your real week, and one grocery list on every phone.

Tablekin keeps your household's recipes, weekly meal plan, and grocery list in one shared place, on everyone's phone. Plan the week, check things off in the store, and know what's in the fridge and when to eat it. Free to start: sign in with Apple, Google, or your email.

ONE LIST, EVERY PHONE
• Check something off in the store and it's gone for everyone at home
• Works offline, because grocery stores have terrible signal
• Grouped by aisle; move anything to the section your store keeps it in
• Get a notification when someone adds to the list

PLANNED AROUND YOUR CALENDAR
Connect Tablekin and Google Calendar to Claude, and pick the calendars to plan around. Claude reads them and plans around the busy nights: something quick before practice, no cooking on a night out. Each dinner goes on a separate Meals calendar you choose, and if a meal changes, Tablekin shows which events are out of date.

A WEEKLY PLAN THE WHOLE HOUSEHOLD CAN SEE
• Plan dinners for the week and see who's eating each night
• Turn the week's meals into a grocery list in one tap: ingredients combined, scaled, and minus the staples you keep on hand
• Cook extra on purpose and plan the leftovers
• Log takeout leftovers too

YOUR RECIPES, LIKE A COOKBOOK
• Browse instead of scrolling: Quick tonight, Not made lately, and every kind of food you cook, from Mexican to soups to breakfast
• Tablekin sorts each recipe by cuisine, dish, and meal as you add it; fix any it gets wrong
• Filter by kind, meal, time to make, or what you just bought
• Paste a recipe link, or a note full of them, and Tablekin brings in the ingredients, steps, times, and photo
• Turn screenshots into a recipe; your phone reads the text itself
• Paste recipe text and Tablekin sorts it into ingredients and steps
• Coming from Mealime? Paste your recipe links, notes, or screenshots to bring them over
• Add notes for the swaps you always make
• Export every recipe anytime, as one file you can read anywhere

KNOW WHAT TO EAT FIRST
The fridge timeline shows when each dish was cooked and how long it's good for, using the short end of FoodSafety.gov's storage times.

FOOD SPENDING, MONTH BY MONTH
After shopping, enter what the trip cost. Each month starts fresh, and you can look back at earlier months. With Tablekin Household, set a food budget and Claude plans to it.

ALLERGIES FLAGGED BEFORE YOU COOK
Add each person's allergies once, including kids without an account. Tablekin flags a possible allergen for whoever is eating that night, and the recipe filter can leave out recipes with a possible allergen for anyone you choose. Always check labels yourself.

BETTER WITH CLAUDE
Connect Tablekin to Claude and plan the week in a sentence: "Plan dinners around our calendar and use up what's in the fridge." Claude respects everyone's diets, fills in the plan, and builds the list. Claude helps you plan with the recipes you've saved. Every change Claude makes in Tablekin is shown in its own color, with who asked for it, and one tap undoes it. You don't need Claude to use Tablekin.

TABLEKIN HOUSEHOLD
Free includes the shared list, the planner, the fridge timeline, and up to 25 recipes. Tablekin Household adds unlimited recipes, unlimited changes by Claude, a food budget Claude plans to, and Tablekin AI to sort messy pasted recipes and screenshots (30 a month), for everyone in your household on one subscription.

Tablekin Household is $4.99 a month, with a 7-day free trial, or $39.99 a year, with a 3-month free trial for a limited time. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm. It renews automatically unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before then. Manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.6 — 2026-11-04

New to Tablekin? Right after you sign up, pick one of a few easy dinners and it goes on tonight's plan. Add its ingredients to your grocery list with one tap, then plan another night from the same easy recipes.

Fixes and small improvements.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-11-03

New to Tablekin? See how it works before you make an account.
Sign in faster: Apple and Google go straight to their own sign-in, and email sign-in uses a 6-digit code right in the app. No password.
Spending shows one month at a time. Each month starts fresh, and the arrows take you back to earlier months.
Save recipes from Instagram: share the post to Tablekin, or paste the link.
Group recipes into collections, like Weeknight or Holidays.
Text a recipe to someone. Your household opens it in Tablekin; anyone else gets a copy to save.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-11-01

A new look: buttons and highlights are crimson now.
This week says who checked a possible allergen: "Possible tree nut for Maya · Alex checked."

### 1.0.3 — 2026-10-31

Invite by email: from Household, or while setting up, send an invite to someone's email address. When they sign in to Tablekin with that address, they're asked whether to join your household. On iPhone you can pick the address from Contacts.

Made for one meal: mark a sauce, dressing, or seasoning as made for one meal, and cooking it won't leave leftovers in the fridge. Meal preps you make ahead still show up.

Smoother setup: your name now carries through setup even if you close the app partway, and invites always say who they're from.

Fixes and small improvements.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-30

Recipes, redesigned. Browse your collection like a cookbook instead of scrolling one long list:
• Quick tonight and Not made lately, right at the top
• Kinds of food to tap into: Mexican, Italian, soups, breakfast, and more, sorted for you as you add recipes
• Filter by kind, meal, time to make, what you just bought, or leave out possible allergens for anyone in your household
• Got a recipe's kind wrong? Fix its cuisine, dish, or meal when you edit it
