## What is Tacet?

Tacet is an AI assistant for your documents that runs entirely on your iPhone.

REAL DOCUMENT WORK
Hand it a spreadsheet and get one back with live =SUM() formulas, not frozen numbers. It reads Word, PDF and CSV, summarizes them on the device, and writes new documents from your notes.

NOTHING LEAVES WITHOUT YOUR OK
The model runs on-device with Apple Intelligence. There is no cloud and no account. If a task ever needs the network, Tacet first shows you the exact text it would send, and waits.

WORKS OFFLINE
Chats, notes and files live in your phone's storage. Tacet works in airplane mode.

HONEST MATH
Arithmetic is computed in code, never guessed. Every step is shown as a visible chip, so you see what it did rather than taking its word.

YOUR DAY, ON YOUR TERMS
Calendar, reminders and contacts, asked for only at the moment a task needs them.

TEACH IT YOUR OWN SKILLS
Documents, calculation, calendar, reminders and search are built in. Write your own rules on top, and connect your own MCP server or SearXNG search if you want to.

• A greeting gets a greeting. Say hello and Tacet answers instead of starting a search.
• The language router behaves the same in all nine languages, and no longer fires on a word that merely sits inside another.
• Connections: reach a connected server without the word "server", and see when a tool actually ran.
• Approval now says what the turn read, and warns when a call would change something on the server.
• No row in the Permissions screen is a dead end any more.
• A date written without a year resolves correctly whatever language your device is in.
• Search no longer spends the time budget that reading the page needs.
• Reply filtering: an unfinished tool call reaches neither you nor the answer beside it.

A new welcome that shows what Tacet does instead of explaining it.

Files reach Tacet directly. Share a PDF or a spreadsheet from Mail, Files or Safari and it opens here, without leaving your phone.

Dates written in your own language are understood properly, even when your phone is set to another language.

Steadier replies. Tacet recovers better when something goes wrong halfway through an answer, a stopped reply is saved cleanly, and it no longer mistakes its own clock reading for a made-up number.

The capabilities screen now lists exactly what the app can really do, and Settings can export a diagnostics report if you need to describe a problem. It carries no message text, and nothing is ever sent on its own.

Search answers in every language Tacet speaks. Asking for a timetable, a rate or the weather in German, French, Japanese, Korean or Chinese now brings back the value itself, not a list of links.

A value that was found is never reported as missing. Tacet used to fetch two dozen results and still say it couldn't find anything; when it has the answer, it gives it, and says plainly when the page might be out of date.

Turkish words are matched properly. Writing sıcaklık, kalkış, varış or altın now finds what it should, and pages dated in Aralık are recognised as current.

Attached documents get an answer, not a transcript. Ask what a contract says and you get a few sentences; ask for a timetable and you get a table.

Numbers are checked against what the tools actually returned, on every reply. If a figure doesn't come from a source, Tacet fixes the answer instead of showing it.
