## What is TachoPlus?

TachoPlus is a digital tachograph assistant for professional truck drivers across Europe. Built on real EU regulations — not guesswork.

  WHAT TACHOPLUS DOES

  • Real-time timers — Drive, Rest, Break, Availability. Always know your current status.
  • Tachograph connection (Bluetooth) — real-time data straight from your DTCO 4.1 or Stoneridge SE5000: current activity, drive time remaining, time until shift end, driving today and this week. Tachograph data automatically corrects TachoPlus's own calculations.
  • Truck parking — map of free and paid parking spots across Europe with filters (shower, security, fuel).
  • Friends & colleagues — see each other's status, find nearby drivers, chat.
  • EU Reg. 561/2006 — 4.5h drive limit, daily 9/10h, weekly 56h, fortnightly 90h. Alerts before you exceed any limit.
  • Weekly journal — view, add or edit sessions for any day. Full week overview in one screen.
  • PDF reports — auto-generated with driver name, company, vehicle number and license. Share with your dispatcher instantly.
  • GPS country detection — automatic, under 150m accuracy, double confirmation at border crossings.
  • Cabotage tracker — max 3 operations per 7 days per EU Reg. 1072/2009. Clear counter always visible.
  • Split rest — Art. 8(1): 3+9 hours instead of 11h continuous. Supported and tracked.

Live tachograph data now sticks in the app: drive time, weekly driving and time since break persist even after Bluetooth disconnects or the app restarts. The Drive/Work/Available/Rest buttons now auto-switch from the tachograph itself while it's connected — the moment Bluetooth drops, GPS takes back over as before. Added manual tachograph selection from a nearby-devices list (useful on crowded truck parking lots). Fixed: stopping with an open shift now correctly switches to Break instead of Rest.
