### 3/5 — Can’t see my sessions in app

*2026-06-17, version 1.6.5*

I can’t see my sessions in app. Really frustrating

### 2/5 — Annual premium renews in June 2026, but it’s acting like I haven’t paid a premium fee.

*2026-03-24, version 1.6.3*

Had this for years now, I paid the annual and it’s not up till June 2026. The app won’t let me use the features on the watch. Says premium fees required.

I remember when the app maker wanted to help his family member and this was free .. why are my charges for the services not working.

### 4/5 — Please add a feature

*2026-03-10, version 1.6.3*

While I do like this app a lot I also think being able to track hrv throughout the day would be very beneficial besides just hr

### 5/5 — POTS POTS POTS

*2026-03-07, version 1.6.3*

I kept hearing about TachyMon on my POTS Facebook pages. It’s AMAZING! If you want to know if your HR goes up by 30+ BPM upon standing, this app clearly shows it. I had to get off Midodrine and Mestinon for a TTT and it was glaringly OBVIOUS which days I was off my meds. I like that I can add notes to log these things. Lastly, I thought I was going to have to upgrade my Apple Watch version 6 but TachyMon does not kill my battery. I use it for 13 hrs a day and my watch is still running when I get ready for bed. Download it, you won’t regret it!

### 2/5 — Accuracy = meh

*2026-03-06, version 1.6.3*

It doesn’t track my heart rate unless I’m running a session and even then it’s not correct. Cross referenced it with the apple app and palpating it manually… apple and palpating were consistent and TachyMon wasn’t. I use an Apple Watch and for some reason TachyMon isn’t reading a heart rate with my watch but the preloaded apps will….

### 5/5 — Highly recommend

*2026-02-13, version 1.6.3*

Wonderful app, was randomly told about it and have used it constantly literally every day since (for like 4 months now).

It does exactly what it claims and is very useful for general pacing alerts.

There are some features I would love to see added for sure. But as is, it’s still a daily companion and while it isn’t a clinical tool, exporting sessions and events made it much easier to engage with doctors or cardiologists and push them for more diagnostic testing (irl symptoms were the actual driver but having the exports helped show outside of a white-coat setting exactly what is going on. Even if it’s just a step to get a proper holder and such)

Some of the reviews are acting like bro is personally pricing the heal care system.

On a macro level I agree about ethical lines with monetizing health and I don’t love subscriptions. But realistically the app is priced daily and as something that I genuinely use all the time I am personally happy to give 1-2 bucks a month to validate the time it takes to implement the features I’d like to see and make sure that a iOS update doesn’t accidentally make it so the app I use daily stops working.

Anyways, wonderful app! Custom symptoms could be cool but I understand why they’re currently limited to some of the ones that sync with Apple health. If not custom as well, it would be great to see the full Apple health symptom spread in app. Just because there are so many variations within POTS and subtypes that I think expanding the tractable symptoms (even if you wanted to keep it limited to specifically HealthKit samples) would be a great way to help people track complex cases or gain some insight into their broader symptoms and physiology.

Stuff like blurred vision for example would likely be super valuable to log for those experiencing it.

Even if the extras need to be enabled in settings as it makes sense to focus on the ones you have already cause they’re the dominant symptoms for POTS.

Great app and I hope to see it maintained and improved as long as possible :)

Also (not @dev)—get you an uncle who will develop an entire app for you when you’re in need. That’s love fr.

Keep it up!

### 2/5 — App likes to glitch and end session

*2026-01-28, version 1.6.2*

I've been noticing more often than not when I begin a session the app will randomly end the session out of nowhere without any warning or notification. So I'll take my watch off to charge it only to find out that my session ended 6 hours earlier. I pay for the premium subscription so I have higher expectations. I monitor my heart rate because I have a health condition that requires some form of monitoring. If I can't get what I need here I'm going elsewhere because this is ridiculous. But when it works it works well and I love the feature where my watch will vibrate when my heart rate gets too high so I know to take a step back, sit down, a drink some water.

### 4/5 — Needs more features

*2026-01-21, version 1.6.2*

Helpful app with potential. I’m trying to figure out what medication might be causing my increased heart rate so it would be really useful if I could somehow add notes during the day from my watch and have certain medications attached to certain sessions. Because right now I’m using 3 different apps all to monitor a single problem and it’s driving me crazy.

### 3/5 — session data deletes if bluetooth connection is lost

*2026-01-07, version 1.6.2*

i am using a bluetooth armband heart rate monitor with the paid version of the app, and have found that when the bluetooth device disconnects unexpectedly, sometimes i get a notification that the session has ended, and then the incomplete session is saved, and other times i don’t get any notification and when i go into the app to check on things the session is gone along with all alerts. I’ve lost entire days of tracking data due to this, hope can be fixed

### 4/5 — Great So Far

*2025-12-15, version 1.6.2*

I’m really liking the app so far and love getting real time data. I just wish there were more options for customization. I would really like to be able to add my own symptoms.

### 4/5 — Great product for continual monitoring

*2025-11-23, version 1.6.2*

So great overall all but really could benefit from having the ability to add your own symptoms to the symptom list as alots missing.

### 5/5 — Great app for POTS!

*2025-11-05, version 1.6.1*

I’ve been using TachyMon for over a year now and am pretty satisfied with it. My only complaint is that it is logged as a workout, which means that you can’t record another workout at the same time. This has also made it so the hr data doesn’t show up on some summaries on other apps that exclude workouts. Sometimes it randomly crashes and I have to restart my watch to get it working, but it’s pretty rare that this happens. Otherwise, it’s been working well.

### 2/5 — Ugh

*2025-11-04, version 1.6.1*

It costs money now

### 5/5 — Developer very helpful

*2025-10-17, version 1.6.1*

We got this to help with my daughter’s tachycardia. At first we couldn’t see all the graphs, but we reviewed the settings as requested and now it’s working well.

### 3/5 — Needs more features

*2025-10-16, version 1.6.1*

Helpful app with potential. I’m trying to figure out what medication might be causing my increased heart rate so it would be really useful if I could somehow add notes during the day from my watch and have certain medications attached to certain sessions. Because right now I’m using 3 different apps all to monitor a single problem and it’s driving me crazy.
The worst thing about this app is that it requires being open on the watch the entire duration a session is running. So the watch is effectively not a watch anymore because I need to press out of the app if I want to see the time/watch face, then when my watch face dims the app seems to open itself again because I have to repeat the process every time.

### 4/5 — Needs more features

*2025-09-22, version 1.6.1*

Great app but I’m trying to figure out what medication might be causing my increased heart rate so it would be really useful if I could somehow add notes during the day from my watch and have certain medications attached to certain sessions. Because right now I’m using 3 different apps all to monitor a single problem and it’s driving me crazy.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Is it really free?

*2026-08-09, version 1.6.5*

It will not let me start a monitoring session unless I pay for a subscription. I’m reading responses from the all saying that monitoring remains free but it will not allow me to move forward without paying for the subscription.

### 1/5 — No free version

*2026-06-19, version 1.6.5*

I downloaded this app as a recommendation, once downloaded there is no free version. It shows you what you can get if you sign up for the subscription but that’s it. So disappointing.

### 1/5 — $ Monthly subscription required

*2026-03-03, version 1.6.3*

This app was suggested in a bunch of Reddit subs, but they mention that the real time HR feature is free; unfortunately, that doesn't appear to be the case anymore. $2.99 a month now.

### 1/5 — doesnt work

*2026-02-12, version 1.6.3*

it said my avg heartrate was 0?? and said i didnt have a single high heart rate event meanwhile my bpm finger thingy said i was at 184. safe to say either im the grinch and dont have a heart OR this app is broken

### 1/5 — Paying

*2025-09-01, version 1.6.1*

Why has it completely changed to having to be a subscription just to view our daily monitoring. It’s basically a subscription service to view our own health vitals. It use to be so simple and able to view everything and have it as needed. Not anymore.

### 1/5 — No way to use without paying

*2025-07-12, version 1.5.1*

This app has no free version. Everything is behind a paywall. I thought some features were free but it forces you to choose a paid subscription. There is no option to choose a non premium version

### 1/5 — New update

*2025-06-22, version 1.5.1*

This app no longer shows any monitoring screens, it use to work fine now it’s all over the place.

### 1/5 — not working

*2025-06-18, version 1.5.1*

i can no longer see my live heart rate and monitoring on the front of my apple
watch it just says end session when before it showed a screen with all details on really annoyed as don’t know how to get this back

### 1/5 — Have to pay to use ANYTHING now

*2025-06-04, version 1.5.1*

I didn’t mind that some things I needed to pay a subscription for. But now I can’t even use it at all without subscribing.

### 1/5 — Drains your battery fast

*2025-05-21, version 1.5.1*

Use literally any other app. Started using TachyMon yesterday and my battery drained quickly for my apple watch. Turned it on at 10am this morning and my battery is pretty much halfway (after being full) at 12pm. Only 2 hours of use and it killed my battery. It’s also super difficult to read and follow and with POTS it sends alerts for EVERYTHING. Even drains the battery on “battery saving” mode.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Life saving

*2026-07-27, version 1.6.5*

I have POTs and with this it helps me through normal day to day tasks to let me know if I am pushing my self too hard. With out it I wouldn’t have been able to get my symptoms to regulate it self naturally with out meds

### 5/5 — Love

*2026-06-03, version 1.6.5*

This App and the exports helped me get my diagnosis after 6years of gaslighting. Thank you.

### 5/5 — Useful for other rhythm disorders!

*2026-05-30, version 1.6.5*

I don’t have POTS, but am having tachycardia spells related to another heart condition and this app allows me to document them then record an ECG on my Apple watch. So glad I found this!

### 5/5 — Thank you 🥺

*2026-05-09, version 1.6.3*

To the developer who has POTS, thank you.
I’ve been using this app for about a month now and it has been so helpful. I know what my personal thrust holds are, and I’m aware of which heart rate is going potentially take me out… So it is so nice to be able to attempt to live in normal life and trust that the watch is going to alert me when needed. I no longer have to carry a pulse ox around with me. It’s just made it so much easier to live with a condition that’s not easy to live with.
I had to reach out to customer service once and they got back to me almost immediately and guided me through my tech issue with ease, patience and kindness.
The only small drawback is, I have noticed that the app is about 2 to 5 beats lower than what my pulse ox and BP cuff say. But that’s a non issue.
It is really affordable and will great for providing my cardiologist reports if necessary.

### 5/5 — Love love love

*2026-04-05, version 1.6.3*

My doctor will really appreciate the data!! I accidentally forgot about it during trial. Best adhd tax ever. 😂

### 5/5 — Terrific

*2026-04-02, version 1.6.3*

Only thing that would make this app better is when symptoms high notifying emergency contact in case of a fall

### 5/5 — Absolutely Accurate!

*2026-04-02, version 1.6.3*

I had a stress test recently and had the hospital verify that my TachyMon app was accurate. After 3 months of monitoring for POTS and SVT, it was awesome to hear it is accurate down to to the beat and moment.

### 5/5 — POTS

*2026-03-27, version 1.6.3*

I have been searching for a good POTS tracking app and this one is great!! The only other thing i would want on this app is the ability to add your own symptoms, cause the ones on there aren’t all i experience. I would give the app a 4.5/5! It’s so nice to see the exact time my episodes occur and how long they happen for! I am a subscriber and am on the free trial right now, but i keep on keeping my subscription because it’s not too expensive and it’s helps a lot more!!

### 5/5 — game changer

*2026-03-18, version 1.6.3*

incredibly helpful for pacing and tracking symptoms with POTS. i don’t faint (usually) but this app still helps me manage my symptoms and keep myself from pushing too hard. only constructive criticism i have is that it would be nice to have live activities and widgets for the phone, for people who track using a bluetooth monitor. please keep supporting this app!! i’ve only been using it a short time but it’s already been such a boon!

### 5/5 — I love it!

*2026-03-07, version 1.6.3*

I use this app everyday pretty much it helps me manage my pots and helps me have numbers to share with my doctors!!
I think the subscription is very fair and worth it, I hope one day you guys make a lock screen widget for the phones though so we can see the session without having to look at the watch or in the app. I also think that having it send the running session and notifications to a contact for when you’re out and about with family or a partner would be awesome!! Love the app though!
