## What is TacLink?

TacLink is a lightweight field coordination tool for airsoft teams. Keep your squad on the same page with a shared live map, organized teams, and host-controlled games — built to stay useful even when connectivity gets patchy.

LIVE TACTICAL MAP
See your teammates' live positions on a terrain-focused map during a match. Place enemy markers so everyone shares the same picture of the field in real time.

TEAMS & ROLES
Create a team, invite members, and manage who's in. Owner and admin roles keep control in the right hands.

HOST-CONTROLLED GAMES
Game hosts create a game, draw the playable area directly on the map, and invite teams. Only invited teams can join and see the action.

BUILT FOR THE FIELD
Poor signal in the woods is expected, not an afterthought. TacLink keeps showing your cached map and last known state when the connection drops, so you're never left with a blank screen mid-game.

TACLINK PRO
Unlock live game features — shared teammate positions and enemy markers — with a TacLink Pro subscription.

Whether you're running a small skirmish or coordinating multiple teams across a large field, TacLink gives you shared tactical awareness without the hassle of group chats and screenshots.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-10-09

Background position sharing that keeps working with the screen locked, a Bluetooth mesh between teammates when there is no signal, player status (hit, bleeding out, dead), the organizer's event map over the tactical map, side QR codes for joining, and match credits, a match pass and an offline pack as one-time purchases.

### 1.1 — 2026-09-07

Joining is faster
• Join a match or a team with a 6-character code, a QR code, or a link.
• Late to the field? Join a live match and get sorted onto a side.

Run bigger games
• Organizer and moderator roles: staff see every side's positions, contact reports and team pins on one map, and can hide any side to see the game as that side sees it.
• Quick matches for a single team, walk-in teams grouped by team, and hosts can edit a match after creating it.

On the map
• Double-tap to mark an enemy, long-press to drop a team pin, then name or recolor it. Fixed markers and pin names not showing.
• Hide the gesture hints with one tap and bring them back from the ? button.
• Lock map input to stop accidental panning; the lock now also blocks swiping out of the match.

Also
• Withdraw a sent team invitation. Delete a pin your team placed.
• Deleting your account hands your teams and matches to another owner instead of removing them.
• A cleaner, simpler layout across the app,
