And wanting to customize my order I can’t choose to not have something on the burrito. Wish we could say like don’t want hot sauce or something on the meal. Also not all drink options are on the app. My store carries root beer and wouldn’t give me the option even. And usually I choose pick up in drive thru and choose my time. Today didn’t give me the option. Only in store pick up for time. I’ve been to dozens of Taco John’s locations throughout my life and my experience today was probably the best I’ve ever had. The place is clean and very inviting. The food quality and presentation was absolutely perfect. The staff is out of this world friendly. The gal at the front counter taking orders is incredibly friendly. She never stops working and finding something to do, from helping customers, to making sure the restaurant is clean. I had time to kill before a meeting so I sat in the lobby to eat. The interaction between the manager and the employees is amazing and I have to believe this place is very successful. The manager clearly has excellent leadership abilities. Congratulations on a great customer experience and thank you for a surprisingly wonderful lunch experience. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — How do you people not know… *2026-08-18, version 4.1* This whole menu is available 24-7 where I live. You’re losing out on all lunch orders in the morning. Personally, I’m gonna get lunch this am somewhere else that serves lunch, but hope you guys address this. ### 1/5 — Poor UI/UX *2026-07-04, version 4.1* This app does NOT allow you to fully customize your meals. There is no “no ice” feature for the drinks. And everything is a drop down menu in the app ### 1/5 — No beans for 6 pack *2026-06-27, version 4.1* I saved up all of my points to get a free 6 pack and a pound and as I reached my points, I was given a $2 off coupon. I decided to order with the coupon and save my points for another time, and I found out I cannot substitute beef for beans like I can on most other items. What an absolute waste I’m so mad that I cannot get the same menu items I could get when I worked for the company 16 years ago. They never had a problem doing beans or allowing nacho to be added to certain items… now the app is all twisted on what it will and will not allow. I can’t even ask for extra taco sauce on certain items or change certain hot sauce items to be mild instead. Altogether Taco John’s has a lot of work to do before this app is actually able to provide you the same things you can walk up to the counter and order. ### 1/5 — This app is garbage. *2026-06-26, version 4.1* Not only are the prices OUT OF CONTROL, your worthless app NEVER lets me add my rewards or redeem the offers you send me in my inbox.
