Constantly crashing and failing to connect to camera. The wifi connection is on and connected to the IP address, but the app will not connect camera or fails when trying to watch videos or delete them. Their cameras are excellent, but if you can’t view what you’re shooting on the app so that you can adjust the camera. It’s a crapshoot on what you’re capturing. I couldn’t get it to respond. Now it won’t turn on. Wish I would have never downloaded this app! ### 1/5 — Full of Problems *2022-08-30, version 2.8.0* For the most part you will see that the 5 star ratings far out number all others. But if you look closer, most ratings rated “5” were made 4 years ago. Ratings made after that period drop off dramatically to a poor rating. Apparently something changed for the worse, and support does not seem to have any answers. I will agree that the video quality of the camera by itself is great. But if you think you will be able to sit in a blind and watch your deer on your iPad, good luck with that. This includes both the Tactacam Wi-Fi and Connect apps. For both android and apple software versions. Crashes, freeze ups, and settings that don’t work. I spent hours reloading software, upgrading firmware, you name it. No change. Support will only give vague, canned replies. I even went and bought a $300 iPad because the software on my android Samsung phone kept crashing. Weird that it vibrates but overall great. I’d recommend this product.
