I assume this app is for children and want the developers to imagine children with limited patience trying to work through a bug in the app when they have no idea it’s not their fault. Another reason I gave this tool a single star is for impracticality. For example, the instructions ask you to put the 4 anti-slip frames on your tablet. Most people want to use a screen protector and case to protect their expensive tablet. The instructions imply that you have to remove your screen cover to use the frame corners leaving your table unprotected. Also, as a parent, most kids are messy. How long will it be before you lose a single piece and the game is worthless? Another example is using this in a car on a long trip. You really can’t because there’s 12 pieces to have to sort through. Overall, I think the idea of getting kids to use motor skills with an app is a cool idea. I just don’t think this is a practical way to do it. Removing the pieces to simplify the tool and putting more development into the bugs might be the best way forward. **Developer response:** Dear Customer! There might be a possibility that "Do Not Disturb" or "Silent" mode is turned on. Kindly try these steps: From the top right corner of the iPad home screen, please swipe down. This will launch the Control Center. Make sure the Crescent Moon and Bell icons are turned off. They don’t register when placing them on the iPad. We were told the update would take place within 48 hours. That was a week ago. I just stuck on the page The first page “ Selcet all the shapes with 3 sides” I am so disappointed about this app. What’s going on the app! She just started playing right now and realized there are ginormous bugs in the game. Please fix them or I want my money back. I paid an entire $50 for this. I also wanna say my son has the Dino one and there’s no problems with it and my son loves it. ### 3/5 — I really want to love this but… *2023-03-17* My daughter got the Doctor version for Christmas. She loves it, and I do too for the most part but there are definitely some issues. The main one is that one of the games, doc doc who’s there, only has three characters that you can play, and then there are many, many that are grayed out. Completing the three that are available does not enable you to play the ones that are grayed out. Updating the game didn’t do anything to allow those characters to be worked on, and that means that one full game out of three basically is unplayable. **Developer response:** Dear Customer, We understand that some parts of the games in the Tacto Doctor are grayed out. My mom got really upset after that and today and yesterday I was just playing by myself so I was just trying to kill the King and every time I tried to it was like no your king will die if you move there and I just wanna move the king there like when people are just learning the game it’s OK for them to get mistakes and accidentally killed their queen and king so what I’m really just asking is for maybe an update where the person can actually react to your king being in checkmate and it doesn’t force you to not move your king somewhere when you’re in check cause it didn’t let me move the king anywhere, but I do like the fact that you can actually play them in real life and digitally **Developer response:** Dear User, Thank you for your rating and for sharing detailed feedback about the issue with eliminating the King in your Tacto Chess games. The only issue I have is that it set up in the app by ,month with only 2-3 patients to take care of. It stops at June and says July is coming soon and you can’t see past July. However I have two problems. Number 1 is that there are only 4 to three different games to play in the sets and because we have to buy multiple sets, we only bought 1 for my son and two for my younger son. Currently, there are only two choices, which gets boring after a while.
