Enough tools and precision to get the job done, although it takes some time and practice. The fatal flaw, however is the output resolution. The app saves my 20mp DSLR images at an abysmal 2.8mp. Great app :) ### 3/5 — Please update for iPhone XS Max *2018-11-07, version 1.7* I have been using this app for years still my favorite for blurring out the background and being able to be very specific and precise, very easy to use, the only problem is now with the screen cut outs at the top and the 3D Touch when I apply a filter I cannot adjust the filter from 100% because it just wants to move the entire screen over, the page will not stay stable in order to toggle from 100% on down without moving the entire screen, and whatever is at the top of the screen you cannot see all of the wording do to the cut out at the top, if you could fix things that would be great thanks ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Depth of field doesn’t work any longer *2024-01-23* When is this going to be fixed? It has been almost a year. Used to be my favorite app. Edit: oh I see. It has been turned into a pay for monthly feature in the new app, so this one one likely ever update and fix. Masking/blur effect no longer works. Also-one of the effects is so far on the bottom of the screen you’re no longer able to adjust the slide bar. It’s below where your touch screen recognizes. VERY angry and disappointed. The adjustment slider is set so low on the screen that when you try to move it, the phone switches to the next app. Please fix this! Blur feature is a total pain if you want accurate edges. I downloaded their associated camera app thinking it would have an option to shoot a portrait style photo without having to manually filter. Nope. The first us the most obvious, on a single photo taken with your basic camera app. The others is to take an image altering app and then bringing it into Tadaa SLR.
