## What is Tadaya?

Most habit trackers ask one question: did you do it today, yes or no?

Tadaya asks a better one: how much?

Some habits aren't a checkbox. You don't "do" reading — you read fourteen pages. You don't "do" water — you drink six glasses. Tadaya is built on counters, so the things you track keep their real shape.

TAP TO COUNT

Every habit is a number you tap up or down. No streak to break, no guilt for a missed day, no all-or-nothing. Just the count.

GOALS THAT FINISH A DAY

Give a habit a sub-goal — 8 cups, 20 pages, 10 minutes — and Tadaya tracks today's progress toward it. Reach it and the day is done. Anything past it isn't hoarded for tomorrow, because tomorrow starts fresh.

A WIDGET THAT ACTUALLY DOES SOMETHING

Put your habits on the home screen and tap the plus right there. No opening the app, no waiting. Small, medium and large, with a progress ring on every one — and you choose which habits appear on each widget.

MAKE IT YOURS

Pick any colour for your widget background, or one of four photographs. Tadaya keeps the text readable whatever you choose.

SEE WHAT YOU'VE DONE

Every habit keeps a history, drawn as a chart on its own screen. Two weeks, a month, three months, or everything since you started.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Tadaya has no accounts, no servers and no analytics. It contains no networking code at all — your habits cannot leave your iPhone, because there is nothing to send them with.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1 — 2026-09-11

Everything about a habit now lives on one screen, and you can fill in the days you forgot.

ONE HABIT, ONE PAGE
Tap any habit to find all of it: its goal, its sub-goal, its history and its notes. These used to sit behind a separate Manage Habits screen that most people never opened. That screen is gone — adding, pinning and reordering all happen right on the main list now.
FORGOT TO LOG YESTERDAY?
Open a habit, tap Log another day, pick the date and tap it in. Your count and your history update as if you had logged it at the time.
HALF A DAY STILL COUNTS
Drank four of your eight glasses? That used to show as nothing at all. Your activity chart now marks partial days too, so the effort that didn't quite reach the goal stops disappearing.
 A CLEARER CHART
Activity is drawn as a smooth line, with a point on every day you logged and a new one-week view alongside the longer ranges.
YOUR COLOR, EVERYWHERE
The background color you pick in Settings is now used by the app itself, not only the widget — and the app keeps its text readable on whatever you choose.
A ROOMIER WIDGET
Bigger rings and numbers, a centered title, and more space between everything.
Sub-trackers are now called sub-goals, which is what they always were.
