I’m looking for a golf gps app for the watch and this is the closest thing. Maybe also pair with an optional small yearly fee to update courses if desired ### 4/5 — Enjoying the App *2026-05-05, version 3.8.3* I was looking for an app to assist my rounds of golf, provide shot distance and also then show graphic detail and this delivers exceptionally well. One gripe I have is that I often complete the round on the watch but then my Apple phone app has a part finished round. I then spend ages trying to sync to then end up filling in the gaps and completing the round on the Phone. Made the mistake of deleting the part finished round on the phone once thinking it would force a new Apple Watch transfer…it didn’t and I lost all of the date. ### 3/5 — Distances were inaccurate *2026-05-02, version 3.8.3* I tried the Tag app during the 7 day free trial. Just got an Ultra 3 iwatch. Consistently the app was 5-10 yards different than my range finder Also 2 buds I played with each had golf apps including 18 birdies and Golf shot We tested them all against the range finder and Tag was the laggard, 18 birdies not much better but Golf Shot was nearly spot on. Going to try Golf Shot next. Don’t they each use the same satellites? Must come down to coding. I have a Garmin Fenix 6 watch that has golf courses built in and found it to be more accurate than Tag that charges $50 per year. Why therefore the huge inaccuracy in the courses is not addressed. For example my club course in the app is several years out of date ### 3/5 — Apple Watch *2025-11-09, version 3.7.4* Not allowing me to scroll to next hole. New Ultra Apple Watch. ### 4/5 — Nearly great *2025-11-02, version 3.7.3* The app is really great on most fronts (though the option to get help from support seems to be broken right now!) Being able to do everything from the watch and not be on the phone all the time is so helpful. Two things that would really help - 1) I think the app is supposed to estimate a handicap but this doesn’t appear to work in practice (20 rounds later nothing it still doesn’t show a handicap), 2) the app recommends your clubs’ yardages seemingly based on average of all shots but all clubs come out low because that includes mis-hits, punch shots, half swings etc… Really happy with 90% of what the app does but it could be even better! ### 4/5 — Longtime user—two key issues *2025-10-22, version 3.7.3* I’ve used this app for years and the latest update broke a core workflow: you can’t jump to a specific hole with the arrow anymore. Also, please make the default score on every hole PAR & 2 putts—starting from 0 makes no sense. Fix these and it’s back to 5 ### 3/5 — Update worse *2025-06-27, version 3.6.8* This app did work flawlessly. Latest app loses track Of holes and jumps to random holes or fails to advance. Some courses it continuously goes to one particular hole over and over ### 3/5 — I’ve Moved On *2025-05-26, version 3.6.8* This has been my go-to app since it was Fun Golf. It still has the best graphics of any golf app on the market. And it does NOT drain my Apple Watch battery unnecessarily. My complaint is two-fold. These last few rounds, the watch seems to get stuck on a random hole and won’t advance automatically even though I’ve added the score and moved along in the round. It’s frustrating. Additionally, the other apps now have the ability to read the greens which is very helpful and shaves some strokes per round. These issues have unfortunately forced me to move on. ### 4/5 — Not updated course *2025-05-13, version 3.6.8* Got the TAG golf connect watch for birthday present tried to use at home golf course and found the layout was wrong on some of the holes so got in touch with TAG through the app. They got back in touch saying they would sort it out within 14 working days. Best regards. ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2025-11-14, version 3.7.4* I paid the subscription and my watch did not give me the yardage unless I subscribe again ( although my subscription ends in November of 2026!) I called the company and I was told by automation have a nice day! ### 1/5 — Very Disappointed *2025-11-02, version 3.7.3* I purchased the TH Calibre E5 due to reputation of the brand and the golf functionality. My initial impression is not very good. Played two rounds this weekend. The watch interface is not comparable to the Grint on Apple Watch. Additionally my home course changed the hole routing more than 5 years ago and the course map has not been updated. Doesn’t give me the impression that the application is not being well maintained. No integration with USGA GHIN. In addition, there doesn’t appear to be a support page on the website. This just started happening in the past month or so. Not sure if it is app related or related to iOS 26. ### 5/5 — Perfect App *2025-10-05, version 3.7* This app really strikes the balance between the visuals for an app and being practical. Gives you everything you need tea to green including targeted recommended shots club recommendations, pretty accurate GPS. My favourite part of the app however, is the usability, nice and easy to have a look at the whole hole before you set up, however the only thing I would recommend is using this with an Apple Watch Ultra for the battery life. Comes in handy and does a whole 18 holes no problem. With battery to spare. ### 5/5 — Best in class, but Apple Watch subscription is unreasonably priced *2025-06-18, version 3.6.8* I’ve tried just about every golf GPS/scorecard app in the App Store, including the ones that appear to be more popular, and in my opinion this one is by far the best. It’s very accurate and quick to update location. It has all the basic features that any other major competitor has, including a few capabilities that the others don’t have, that give you more control over what information you want out of it. And it’s extremely intuitive & easy to use. Now all that said, the reason I am constantly on the lookout for something better is because there’s no way I would pay what they are asking for Apple Watch integration. With most of the major competitors out there providing at least a basic distances feature for Apple Watch for free, it’s pretty baffling why anyone would pay such a steep price. I think I might be willing to pay $80 or $85 for a lifetime subscription, but nothing even close to the price tag they’ve put on the annual or monthly rates. ### 5/5 — Très chouette, le compagnon de parcours idéal *2025-05-30* Aussi belle que pratique un must pour s’avoir ou on en est sur le parcours, où sont les obstacles et le fer que l’on pourrait utiliser.
