### 5/5 — Update to previous review

*2026-07-11*

It was my error saying there was no Snapmaker option. And I don’t know how to delete my previous review.

**Developer response:** Hi Matt.

All good, the Snapmaker option was recently added. Thank you for the feedback :)
Do email us from the settings menu in case you face any issue.

### 5/5 — Best app for managing NFC tags

*2026-06-06*

This app has become an integral part of my workflow. The built-in filament library makes updating information quick and painless. It’s already a great app and continues to get better with each update. Highly recommended.

**Developer response:** Thanks so much! Glad Tag My Spool fits into your workflow. Happy the filament library is saving you time and I appreciate the recommendation :)

If you ever have feature ideas or run into anything that could be improved, please let us know. I would love your input.

### 5/5 — Great Help With Inventory

*2026-06-03*

The app’s biggest value is convenience. Instead of manually tracking every spool in a spreadsheet or notebook, you can keep the information on the tag itself and update it as filament is used. That matters most if you own several spools, swap materials often, or use a printer that can benefit from RFID/NFC spool identification.
It also seems especially relevant for users of systems like Anycubic ACE Pro and similar RFID-enabled setups, where spool recognition can reduce setup time and mistakes. In my opinion well worth the one time investment.

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for the thoughtful review. You described exactly the problem we wanted to solve: once you have more than a couple spools, keeping track of material, keeping track of which spools are actually in the AMS, remaining filament, can get messy fast.

I’m glad our app and its workflow feels useful. The goal is to make spool management feel easier and prevent human errors in swapping spools.

Really appreciate you taking the time to share this.

### 5/5 — Easy and convenient

*2026-05-10*

This app is simple, easy and convenient for my needs. I thank you greatly for making this app and for making the price point for the app reasonable. There is only one feature that would make it perfect in my opinion, that is to be able to print a label to stick on the spool with the same info as the rfid tag

**Developer response:** Hello,

Thank you for the great review and awesome feedback. I would love to know which type of label printer (make model, etc) you have in use and any other sizes want me to add support for printing.

Do email me at apps@kraftpixel.com

Update: The print label feature is now available in version 2.1.0. Let me know how I can make it more useful. Thanks for being a great customer!

### 4/5 — Nice free app

*2026-04-04*

Nice and free app that works like charm. Only problem is that writing sometimes only works on the second try (which may be an app problem or iPhone 14 Pro issue).

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for the great review! I've noticed that can happen sometimes too, especially if the tag moves while writing to the NFC tag or when using thick phone covers. If you notice any pattern, please do write to us on the email apps@kraftpixel.com

### 5/5 — Funktioniert super

*2026-02-20*

Tags lassen sich super einfach beschreiben!

**Developer response:** Gespeicherte Tags helfen mir auch sehr. Genau aus diesem Grund habe ich die App entwickelt. Ich freue mich, dass sie dir auch geholfen hat.

### 4/5 — Great app !

*2026-01-24*

The missing star is because it doesn’t recognize the vendor and report it as « generic », at least for Anycubic.
Adding that feature would make this app perfect ! Kudos anyway 😎

**Developer response:** Hello Dan, thank you for the great review and feedback.

Edit: A video guide on how to correctly sync filaments has been created, it's simple but many are not entirely aware of how this works.

Please reach out to me at apps@kraftpixel.com so that I can share links to the video with you.

### 5/5 — Perfekt für die Verwaltung

*2025-12-31*

RFID lassen sich Problemlos Lesen und Schreiben 👍

**Developer response:** Danke. Freut mich, dass es Ihnen geholfen hat. 🙏

### 3/5 — Ace tag writer

*2025-12-20*

The tag writer seems to work OK. Writing to the tag can be tricky based on distance. Sometimes it says that the tag is defective, but I can still write to it if I try again, not sure why this is happening. My biggest complaint is when setting up a colour it does not allow me to key in the correct RGB colors. It changes them and if I use the hex code, whatever I tell it changes once again.

**Developer response:** Hello. Thank you for your valuable feedback. We are currently not able to identify the issue, could you please email us a video or a screen-recording of the issue you are facing to apps@kraftpixel.com ? Thank you once again.

Update: App has been updated to version 2.

### 5/5 — A simple tool that’s become absolutely invaluable

*2025-11-17*

I’ve been using this for a few weeks to use up old spools without having to manually load them into my ACE Pro, and it’s been absolutely fantastic. I’ve thrown all matter of cheap RFID tags at it and it can handle them all. No more need to respool my filament onto taggable rolls when I can slap a $0.10 RFID sticker on my existing spools and code them in 30 seconds. Many props to the dev for releasing this for free, I would have paid for it!

**Developer response:** Glad to hear how it has helped you :) It's also possible to re-use the NFC tags by sticking them to 0.2mm round discs printed from the same color. It helps me also understand the texture and color (after printing) of the printed material at a quick glance. I had initially made this app to help myself but ended up releasing to everyone for free, just glad to hear you would have paid for it :D
