## What is Taichung Historical Maps?

邂逅老臺中！一場心動不已的時空文化之旅。

臺中歷史地圖收錄從1895年至1986年間發行的古地圖與老照片，對比今日Google地圖與街景影像，搭配地理定位功能，讓使用者透過地圖及照片，進行一場時空文化之旅！

由中央研究院地理資訊科學研究專題中心提供十一張不同年代的臺中市地圖，顯示範圍集中在臺中市中區、西區、南區、北區，可看到臺中城市百年間的發展，平地起高樓，逐漸成為一座繁華的都市。

老照片來自中央研究院臺灣史研究所、臺中市政府文化局、臺灣大學圖書館、臺灣圖書館、國史館臺灣文獻館等單位，另外還有難得曝光的臺中在地攝影家林權助、余如季先生等人的攝影作品，精采呈現。

需求建議：
1、古地圖無法保證位置完全精確，內容僅供參考，本中心不對因操作本應用程式而導致的損害負責。
2、使用Google Maps與Google 街景需要連上網際網路。
