## What is Taijitu?

***** Instructions *****

The game divides the screen into two sections via a white line. The shapes that appear to be pulsating are the ones you can rotate by tapping on them. Avoid having the same color in two places on one side of the white line so that the colors are equally distributed on both sides.

----- Overview -----

Inspired by the Chinese mythology of Yin and Yang, Taijitu is a puzzle game about balance and harmony. The goal is to interchange shape colors and achieve color balance on each side. The white line separates each different world by top and bottom or left and right. This puzzle game combines the art of geometry with beautiful transitions and ambient music. Plug in your earphones and enjoy the experience.

About "Yin Yang":
In Chinese culture, Yin and Yang represent the two opposite principles in nature. "Yin" characterizes the feminine or negative nature of things, and "Yang" stands for the masculine or positive side. Yin and Yang are in pairs, such as the moon and the sun, female and male, dark and bright, cold and hot, passive and active, etc. But Yin and Yang are not static or just two separate things. The nature of Yin Yang lies in the interchange and interplay of the two components. The alternation of day and night is such an example.

### 1/5 — Lost

*2025-03-22, version 1.23*

Totally lost. Give instructions. Was this made for iPad. How to keep music on while you read a book for example

### 5/5 — Nice

*2024-08-09, version 1.23*

This game is cool! Hard to stop playing. Very satisfying

### 2/5 — Hard to see the colors!

*2024-07-18*

In my iPhone 12 mini with iOS v17.5.1's dark theme and zoomed display. :(

### 1/5 — They don’t want us to understand their game

*2020-02-14, version 1.22*

Come on! Freeze the screen when a level is ended. And let us click to go to the next one.
As it is, there is no way to understand the game. Very angry.

### 3/5 — Interesting idea

*2020-02-13*

I like the appearance, and the lack of a timer or points makes it pretty chill, which is nice. But I have no idea what I’m doing. I just click the shapes until I solved the puzzle, and then onto the next. Maybe I’m just lacking the necessary enlightenment...

**Developer response:** The white line separates the screen into 2 sides. Either top and bottom or left and right . Try to make the color balance on each side. For example, 1 blue color place on the left side, than another side must have the same blue color (place on the right side). Hope this help 🙏

### 5/5 — Love!

*2016-11-05*

What a fun brain teaser! Colorful and clever.

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2016-10-21*

It's a cute, easy little game about making all the colors balance. :)

### 2/5 — Frustrating

*2016-10-12*

Repeatedly I am able to separate the colors into a balance on each side but the game doesn't recognize it. There are multiple ways to get a balanced solution but the game seems to only recognize one particular solution. It's very frustrating to know you have it correct only to have the game be expecting a different solution.

### 2/5 — It's pretty

*2016-10-09, version 1.21*

And the music is nice. It's just not much fun to play. Half the time I solved levels without knowing how or why. Very low pressure if you like that. Very Zen.

### 2/5 — Pretty enough, but not very challenging

*2016-10-09*

As a game based on colours, the game is pretty nice to look at with its minimalistic design. The music is also pretty zen, but that's about all I can say for the game. The game works on a one-tap control, but the switching of the parts on some levels aren't very clear, and as such makes the game skewed more towards random chance and persistence rather than any skill or thought.

This game feels like it belongs with games in the vein of the 'Harmony' series, but sadly falls short (by a large margin) in comparison.
