I followed the instructions and I just don’t get it, I want to buy some work shirts and need me sleeve length etc. all this seems to do is tell me it doesn’t have enough data. I feel like I’ve given this all the input it asked for, my height, my fit, my skin color, I posed for three photos, it accepted them and then… what? What are my measurements? I guess I have to go find a tape measure! I would be more than happy to revise this, but I can’t find a manual or support site. 😬 ### 4/5 — Did what I needed little expensive for my use case *2024-05-07, version 1.4.8* I just wanted an app to keep track of my measurements instead of using notepad. Worked well and even let me export pdf! I purchased ad removal to support dev. $7 a little high since realistically I have all I needed but for sure couldn't reproduce an app that has visual aid for $7. Would like to export csv for price of ad removal. Not sure I'd use it for much but would like the option for that much money hmm... Can't really give 5 star since it does a lot more and I'm not going to use this features. Maybe that's not fair to the dev but wouldn't be fair to users of those features either hmm. This is a nice surprise. I will work with this for about a month to see how it is all piecing together. Thank you for listening. 24 March 2022: Thank you for your response and showing how to add a new avatar to add additional measurements but the icon does not allow me to add the lines to add the measurements. Please advise when this will be fixed. I finally have an app to record all of my clients measurements instead of using paper. I am using this app for my business and it is working well, but I really need to have some additional measurements added to use for the profiles. I have mentioned this in a previous review but I am yet to see it in the app. I must have the crotch length and crotch depth measurements. Is there an opportunity for me to add these measurements to show on the model. I upgraded my membership to Tailor Made and this is an important measurement for any tailor and/or sewist in making pants, slacks, underwear, swimwear etc. ### 5/5 — Just what I was looking for! *2022-02-22, version 1.4.1* I was very happy to be able to support the app with a one-time fee to remove adds. I’ve been using this app for a few years now and it runs much more smoothly since the last update. The easy-to-read diagrams have come in handy many times when I’ve had to explain measurements to non-tailors and it’s been invaluable in helping me keep and update client measurements. Es ist genau wonach ich gesucht habe ### 4/5 — Name of the app *2022-01-15, version 1.3.4* I use the app once every few months and can never remember the name. “DM” isn’t the most intuitive when it comes to remembering the name of the body measurement app. I hope the dev will update what words will pull up the app when searching. “Measurements” would be a good start. ### 5/5 — App needs more and annual price option *2022-01-14, version 1.3.4* I recently downloaded the app again (free version), and still think it’s a great app for basic body measurements. However, it’s still missing several measurements needed for designing gowns, corsets etc. it would be easy to add these along with the others. I was paying the $4.99/month previously, but I really didn’t see enough benefit for that price. I already have a folder in GoodNotes for all of my clients information, including photos and I simply add a screenshot of the measurement screens into their GoodNotes file and add any notes there. That system is paid for with a one time payment and I have a ton of options for my clients information. There’s an open source pattern software that has measurement option, but many many more measurements, but the downfall is I cannot use it on my iPad which takes me back to DM I simply cannot justify the very expensive $4.99/month for just the ability to take notes and photos. Exporting PDF isn’t that big of a deal as I take screenshots. It’s easier and faster anyway. There’s other programs that are much much more in depth that don’t charge this. Look at Procreate just as a software example, a one time super cheap purchase fee and they just did a major free update. There needs to be many more options to justify your charge. For both models: The measurement for sleeve length isn’t useful... Need the measurement from edge of neck to shoulder, from shoulder to elbow, elbow to wrist, forearm circumference, and from shoulder to wrist on both sides of model. Since both arms aren’t always the same length. Those measurements are crucial when custom tailoring items and will allow you to instantly know what length to make any possible sleeve variation as well as any kind of neckline. I have one client that only wants boatneck 1/2-3/4 sleeve tops. And another one that wants scoop neck princess cut cap sleeve or long sleeve tops. All the aforementioned measurements are required to make those different options. Leg length needs to have measurements for both legs because just like arms both legs aren’t always the same length. I have a client that has one leg 3.5in shorter than the other. Also a measurement for preferred rise would be very useful as well. Many people have a preference where their pants/skirts/shorts etc sit on their waist and also the length of their shirts/tops/sweaters etc Female Model: It would be helpful to have back length measurement as well as butt measurement like on male model, as well as a measurement from bottom of back to top of the thigh. Those are very useful for creating clothes for women who have large bottoms. I new this would enable me to have the ability to add custom measurements (great feature) but I was under the impression that I would also be able to sync the information between my iPhone (original device used) and my iPadPro (newest device purchased). However when ever I add new information to one device and then try to synchronize with the other device I find not only is some information missing but other data is inaccurate. What is the proper process to avoid this. I do custom sewing projects for people and keeping everyone’s measurements in one central location is essential and this has been my go to for 3 years now. One tweak. *2023-03-03, version 1.4.7* I really like using this app to collect all the measurements for my friends and family. It makes it so much easier to surprise them with homemade gifts later, now that I’ve had their measurements in my phone for awhile. If I could change one thing, I would make it so the body in the app changes to reflect the dimensions when the dimensions are added. So that there’s a visual to go with it. I think it would be so cool if I could basically see and picture how the garment I’m imagining would work on my friend without them being there. It would be great for friends with shorter torsos or curvier bodies, or even my tall family members.
