## What is TailTreats?

Most dog-treat recipes weren't written with your dog in mind. Tail Treats is.

Tell us about your dog once — their weight, age, allergies, and any conditions — and every recipe in the app gets checked for them, automatically. No cross-referencing toxic-ingredient lists yourself. No guessing how many is too many.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

Each recipe is cross-checked against a curated list of ingredients commonly considered unsafe for dogs — chocolate, xylitol, grapes, onion, garlic, and more — and against your dog's own allergies. If anything's off, you see it before you bake, not after.

Treats should be a small part of a dog's day. Tail Treats does the math from your dog's weight and activity level, so every recipe shows how many pieces a day actually makes sense — no calorie spreadsheet required.

Filter by what you're baking for: tiny, low-calorie training rewards, everyday occasional treats, or functional treats for dental, joint, calming, and digestive support.

Homemade treats lean on a handful of staples. Keep your pantry stocked in the app and get treat ideas built around what you already have.

Queue up a baking session and Tail Treats builds your shopping list — pantry items subtracted, quantities combined, grouped by store aisle, scaled to your batch size. Share it in a tap.

Every recipe is tagged room-temp, fridge, or freezer with a shelf life, so you always know what's safe to feed from yesterday's batch.
