I wish they would bring back the grid preview along with all of your current posts on IG, right now it just shows your upcoming scheduled posts in the preview and you can’t get a feel for the full grid look. ### 4/5 — Tailwinds *2021-05-31, version 6.1.8* Pretty neat app. Definitely saves time as we can schedule post in advance. And it saves your hashtags! ### 2/5 — Tailwind, aka fart. *2021-03-08, version 6.1.5* In relation to their name, the app and its integration with Instagram is essentially a tailwind. Also known as a flatulence. In other words, it’s a gassy piece of junk that doesn’t work and makes me want to leave the room because of how bad it stinks as far as functionality goes. Looking forward to hearing from you! ### 5/5 — Best out there *2021-03-03, version 6.1.5* It’s not only the easy to use app or all the additional features of being a Tailwind customer, it is also the customer service team that make this app my go to for all IG scheduling. Posts and stories quick and easy! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Limited *2022-10-19, version 6.2.1* Was told by one of the managers that previous posts could be rescheduled for another date. I paid for plus only to find that previous posts could not be rescheduled which means all posts have to be scheduled from scratch. Followed up and received no response. Saves no time. Might as well post it to IG myself. ### 1/5 — Functionally Completely Broken *2022-09-14, version 6.2.1* The geniuses at tailwind managed to completely break all the functionality for the app, around 9/5, probably by breaking the backend APIs, as the app itself hasn’t been updated for months and months. They will not fix or refund, and will barely respond to support questions. I would question if your data is safe with them, because they seem pretty clueless about basic software development. ### 1/5 — Lost features I paid for when I signed up *2021-12-17, version 6.2.0* Since the update, the features I have access to aren’t there anymore, such as the insights. Now it tells me I need to upgrade to “plus” even though I had access to these features when I paid for the annual subscription. Reached out to customer support and never got a response… ### 1/5 — So incredibly buggy *2021-09-26, version 6.1.9* You can schedule posts on the app! Great! But they don’t show up on the web app AT ALL! You also can’t schedule more than like 9 posts as it doesn’t give you any more schedule slots. Support is somewhat responsive, unless they are “out of office for a few days) every day. Between this and the web app’s issues, I’m unfortunately having to look elsewhere. ### 1/5 — App has gone downhill *2021-06-02, version 6.1.8* This app used to be a pivotal tool in scheduling posts for my IG. I even purchased their year subscription through the site and changed my IG acct from a creator to business profile so I could auto post. After the last update, I can no longer add my art directly from my art making app (Procreate) to the tailwind app. It says sharing directly to the tailwind app is only for pictures but it’s a picture I’m adding. When I add media directly through the app, I still get an error that the post couldn’t be created but then, it’s created multiple drafts of the same media. This app has become useless for me because I don’t have the time or patience to fight with it to get it work like it should. ### 1/5 — Terrible UX and support, super spammy *2021-05-20, version 6.1.8* I’ve been trying to make the most basic feature of this app now work for two days -auto posting. Al I managed to do was to lock myself out from Facebook, and waste time. I emailed tailwind support and got a generic “have you tried this” email back. On the other hand, I receive about 5 automated emails per day encouraging me to use the app and giving me social media hints. However, I downloaded this app 3 days ago and have not been able to make one post successfully. I have a business acct on IG. Yet, Every time I try to post it says I must convert my personal acct to a business acct. it’s incredibly frustrating, and I would not recommend this app to anyone. I am extremely computer savvy and operate a full digital recording studio on a daily basis, so I should be able to figure out a silly app. I’ve tried contacting the company but have not received any response. Hope to get this issue resolved for you! :) ### 2/5 — No preview grid on iPad *2023-01-07, version 6.2.1* I used to love this app because of it’s grid. I could schedule posts in advance and see how they would look in Preview before publishing. If I wanted to move future posts around, it was easy. Now the preview grid only shows what I’ve posted, and it typically lags a few days behind. So sad! ### 2/5 — Very limited & doesn’t work correctly *2022-11-05, version 6.2.1* The app is buggy and doesn’t seem to work right - Not a good option . I’m much happier with the desktop version - wanted to have an option to change things on the go but unfortunately the app didn’t work . Won’t keep connected with your apps and won’t refund if you decide to cancel. Their product was much better years ago….it’s gotten worse. Now that tailwind does IG too I really don’t need anything else. They have made upgrades based on customer feedback (love when a company listens!) and are very responsive with customer service questions. The pricing is also very reasonable even for someone starting out.
