## What is TAKAMAKA?

The Takamaka wallet is the official app developed by AiliA SA to interact, in a simple and intuitive way, with the Takamaka blockchain.
Inside you will find all the main functions to manage your red and green tokens.

Safety
Private keys are only saved securely within your device and are never shared, even encrypted, with any external service.
Unlike an account, which can be blocked, the wallet is completely under your control with no possibility of recovery or use by another person. Not even AiliA has any kind of control over the transactions on your wallet. For maximum safety you must carefully write down the recovery words, they are the only way to recover it in case of failure or loss of the smartphone!
The Takamaka blockchain was designed with future technology developments in mind. For this we have used post-quantum algorithms to protect blocks and transactions (https://takamaka.io/highsecurity).

Ease of use
From the app it is possible to generate a QR code to request the sending of a specific amount of red or green tokens. Always from the same, it is possible to scan these codes and approve or cancel the transaction.

See all the transactions sent or received, your balance and your bets, all conveniently organized in the same application.

Stake
If you have at least 200 green tokens you can bet them on a mining node, this entitles you to receive a prize based on how well the node has performed in a period of 8 days and 8 hours (epoch). Once executed the bet remains active until you cancel it also it does not require any interaction on your part.
The staked tokens can still be exchanged, the stake does not freeze the tokens. When betting, there are no penalties. At most you will not receive a reward for the current epoch. Operating costs
Transactions carried out relying on the Takamaka blockchain have a fixed token cost determined only by the amount of resources used to perform the operation. It was deliberately decided to exclude time-varying factors such as network load or the total number of nodes from the calculation. In this way, the loading of a time stamp, a hash or a file, maintain a constant cost in tokens over time. In addition to this, AiliA guarantees the availability of red tokens at a fixed price. Combining these two factors, the operating cost is constant.

Privacy and Organization
Each wallet can generate up to 2,147,483,648 different addresses, all managed by the same key. Organize your budget and payments in any way you want!
