## What is Take Thursday?

Take Thursday is the app for the parent who carries the whole invisible schedule — and for everyone who helps carry it.

Once a week, it surfaces the few things that actually need an owner and lets you route each one — "drive to practice, both ways" — to whoever can take it. They claim it with one tap. Whoever claims a thing gets the morning-of reminder, so you can finally stop being the only one who remembers.

And it's grown into the whole family's home base:

• TODAY — your family at a glance: what's handled, what's still waiting, chores, dinner, and who's got the kids.
• ROUTE & CLAIM — hand off a complete responsibility in one tap; if no one takes it, it comes right back to you. Nothing drops.
• KIDS & CHORES — daily and weekly chores, checked off in one tap, with optional points and allowance.
• EVERYONE HELPS — add the co-parent, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends. A grandparent can help three families and see it all in one place.
• LISTS & MORE — a shared grocery list, dinner tonight, a family board for notes and birthdays, coverage for who's watching the kids, and medication check-offs.
• CALENDAR SYNC — connect Google Calendar and your week drafts itself.

What Take Thursday is NOT: a scoreboard. It never compares the caregivers — no tallies, no points between grown-ups, no guilt. Saying "can't this time" is as easy as saying yes.

Fixed Google Calendar connect — it now opens sign-in in a secure browser instead of failing to load. Invite links now send new members to the App Store to install the app and join their family circle. Fixed an issue where removing someone from your circle could silently fail. Fixed a bug where a slow connection could leave a screen stuck loading indefinitely — screens now recover automatically or offer a quick retry.
