## What is TakeMyWeek?

Snap your plate and get a calorie estimate, analyzed on your iPhone. Plan your lunches and dinners for the week in a few taps, then shop with one list sorted by aisle. More than 1,000 recipes, a daily log, Goals for weight and steps, barcode scanning: everything stays on your iPhone.

CALORIES FROM A PHOTO
Take a photo of your plate: the artificial intelligence built into your iPhone estimates what is on it and its calories. The photo is analyzed on your iPhone and is never saved or sent. Add the result to your daily log, which keeps what you ate today and your calorie total. The first 3 analyses are free; after that, plate photo analysis is part of Premium. It needs an iPhone compatible with built-in artificial intelligence, running iOS 27 or later; the rest of the app works without it.

MADE FOR YOUR NEEDS
Answer a few questions when you start and TakeMyWeek sets up your week for you: diet, allergens, cooking time, number of people and goals. Change everything any time in Settings. Cook once, eat twice turns dinner into the next day’s lunch. Add your own items to the shopping list, share it by aisle or export it to Reminders to shop together. The only notification is the optional weekly reminder, if you turn it on. Your answers stay on your iPhone. A free calorie calculator estimates your basal metabolic rate and maintenance calories per day and per week from your activity; nothing you type is saved.

YOUR WEEK AND YOUR SHOPPING
Lunches and dinners that match your time, diet, allergens and the ingredients you avoid. Lock a meal you love, replace another with one tap, and adjust servings: quantities follow. Ingredients from all your meals come together in one shopping list, sorted by aisle and without what is already in your pantry.

MORE THAN 1,000 RECIPES
Browse Classics, world cuisines, Light and protein-rich, Low calorie and Réunion Island. Filter by meal and keep your favorites. Calories and macros are estimated per serving, with a daily total.

WELCOME OFFER
For new installs only, during the 48 hours after you first open the app: an annual subscription whose first year is paid up front at a reduced price, then renews at the regular annual price. The price is shown in the app in your local currency, and Apple decides eligibility. Cancel any time in your account settings.

YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU
No account, server, ads, tracking or analytics. Everything is stored on your iPhone; you can export your data as JSON on demand. Plate photos are never saved or sent. Steps read from Health are never exported or sent. Barcode scanning contacts Open Food Facts only when you scan, and sends nothing but the barcode.

FREE AND PREMIUM
Free: browse the catalog, read your saved week and its shopping list, settings and export, Goals, the calorie calculator and steps, and 3 plate photo analyses.
Premium: generate and edit your weeks, open every recipe, advanced filters, pantry, scanning and plate photo analysis. Plans: weekly (3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers), monthly, 3 months or annual. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings.

GOOD TO KNOW
Calories, macros, cooking times, calorie goals and calculator results are estimates, not medical or dietary advice. Calories estimated from a photo are rough and can be far from the real value. Goals and the calorie calculator are for adults only (18 and over). Talk to a health professional before changing your diet, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition or a history of eating disorders. Allergen filters are indicative: always check the packaging.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.5.1 — 2026-10-23

What’s new in 2.5.1:
• Plate photo: the calorie range is gone. The result now says clearly that it is a rough estimate that can differ a lot from the actual calorie content of your meal.
• New reminder under the list of foods: oil, butter, cream and sauces are often invisible in a photo. Add them with “Add a food”.
• A separate message when a quantity was reduced to stay within the app’s limits, so you can check it.
• Screen fixes: fields and buttons stay reachable above the keyboard in the barcode scan, in the manual journal entry and when you enter your weight (“Continue” in “Your goal”, “Next step” in the setup questions). The “One of these situations applies to me” switch (calculator and Goals) also responds when you tap its label.
• The “Uncertain estimate” mark under a food now also appears for foods that are not in the app’s own food list. A line without the mark is not necessarily right: check every food and quantity.
• Other features work as before.

### 2.5.0 — 2026-10-22

What’s new in 2.5:
• Calories from a photo: take a photo of your plate and the artificial intelligence built into your iPhone estimates what is on it and its calories. The photo is analyzed on your iPhone and is never saved or sent. 3 analyses are free, then it is part of Premium.
• Your daily log: see what you ate today and your calorie total.
• Calorie calculator: estimate your basal metabolic rate and your maintenance calories per day and per week, based on your activity. Free; nothing you type is saved.
• The plate photo needs an iPhone compatible with built-in artificial intelligence, running iOS 27 or later. Everything else works as before.

### 2.4.1 — 2026-10-19

What’s new in 2.4.1:
• The daily calorie total now says that it adds up lunch and dinner, per person.

### 2.4.0 — 2026-10-18

What’s new in 2.4:
• New plans: weekly, with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers, monthly, 3 months, or annual, the best value.
• Right after your free first week, the offer screen opens with a title made from your answers. Close it to keep limited access.
• Every Premium feature in one list: tap See all on the offer screen.
Prices are shown in the app in your local currency.

### 2.2.0 — 2026-10-17

What’s new in 2.2:
• My needs: tell TakeMyWeek what matters to you, such as more balanced meals, saving time, more protein, cooking for the family or moving more. A few questions, and your meals, diet, cooking time and goals are set up for you, with a short summary of the choices made.
• Already use the app? You are invited once to personalize it. Your saved week stays as it is, and you can redo the questions any time in Settings.
• Cheers and gentle encouragement: a short message when you plan a week, finish your shopping list or reach your step goal, and a discreet card in Goals. They appear in the app only, with no notifications.
• Your answers stay on your iPhone.
Nutrition values, times and calorie targets are estimates, not medical advice.
