## What is TakFap Hotel?

Takfap Staff is the phone app for the people who run a hotel: reception, housekeeping and management.
Today — who is arriving, who is leaving, who is still in the building. One switch between the two directions through the door, on any 
date.
The board — every room across every night, colour-coded by whether a stay is coming, here, arriving today or finished. Tap a stay to 
see the folio: guest, nights, room, price, desk times, channel.
Move guests — tap a stay, pick a room from a list that tells you why each one is or is not free. Stage several moves, see them on the 
board, save them as one change. Rates — where your price sits against the hotels you compete with, on a shared price axis, night by night, with the age of the data on screen.Housekeeping and maintenance — open tasks, create and close them where the work happens.
Assistant — ask about tonight's occupancy, a guest, a price, a task, in plain language.
Push notifications for new bookings, cancellations and anything needing a person.
 English, Albanian and Italian.
Takfap Staff requires an account with a hotel that uses Takfap. It is not a booking app for travellers.

  That last line matters — it is the answer to the reviewer asking "who is this for".


## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 2.1 — 2026-09-10

• Changing a stay's dates now shows who is already in that room on those nights. You can still save — with a
  short reason that stays with the change.
  • Cancelling a booking asks for a reason, and the assistant confirms with you before it cancels anything.
  • The assistant finishes its answer and shows the steps it took.
  • Clearer sign-in fields.
  • The tab bar moves out of the way while you scroll a list.
  • A simpler date filter in notifications.

  Also fix the Description. It goes public on the App Store:
  1. Delete the last line: "That last line matters — it is the answer to the reviewer asking 'who is this for'."
     That's a note to yourself, not listing text.
  2. "...with the age of the data on screen.Housekeeping" is missing a line break before "Housekeeping".
  3. " English, Albanian and Italian." starts with a stray space.
  4. The description says "Takfap Staff" but the app is named "TakFap Hotel". Pick one. Apple reviewers do flag
     name mismatches.

### 2.0 — 2026-09-01

A new look, and a name of its own. New app icon, new launch screen, and the app is now TakFap Hotel.

Notifications you can go back to. Every alert is kept in one place, grouped by day, read in your own language, and tapping one opens the guest or the booking it names — even when the notification is what opened the app.

Room status from the phone. Tap a room to set it clean, dirty or out of service.

The room board, redesigned. A card for each stay, coloured by where the guest is in it, and it is now your choice whether rooms stack by category or by number.

Move a guest to another room. Including a room that is already occupied, when a week needs aligning — the app names who is in there and records the reason.

Any phone number is accepted. Written however the guest says it, without losing a number that already works.

Earnings over any dates. This month, last month, this year, or pick the days on a calendar.

Edit a guest record. Name, phone, language and notes, from the phone.

One inbox. WhatsApp, the hotel website and social messages arrive in the same list, and a reply reaches the guest.

Stays nobody closed are checked out at your own checkout hour, so a room stops reading as occupied after the guest has gone.

Plus readable fields throughout, faster screens, and many fixes.
