## What is Takmila?

Takmila turns listening into active recall. You hear the complete, authentic recitation of the Quran while a single word on the screen is temporarily hidden. Before that word is recited, choose which word belongs in the gap. The audio always plays the verse in full; your choice never changes the text and is never recited. It is simply a check on your memory.

This is the difference between passive listening and active memorization. Every gap keeps you attentive and recalling the next word, helping the verses settle more firmly in memory.

Features:
• Complete, authentic recitations—the audio is never altered.
• Listen-and-fill gaps that test recall without changing the sacred text.
• Multiple renowned reciters.
• Practice material across all 30 juz, including the openings and endings of each surah.
• Generous timing before each hidden word is recited.
• Arabic and English interfaces.
• Multiple visual themes and adjustable Quran text settings.
• Downloaded recitations can be used offline.

A wrong choice is never recited and never alters the Quran. The hidden word is only a visual mask over one read-only word; the complete word is revealed as the recitation reaches it.

Make your listening count. Memorize with Takmila.
