## What is Tala Alerts?

Tala is a talking app for children who do not speak. The child taps a picture card and Tala says the whole sentence out loud, in a natural voice.

This app is the other half of that, the parent's half. When your child taps a card, anywhere in the house, the words arrive on your wrist. You feel it, you look, and you know what they need. You do not have to be in the room, and you do not have to be holding a phone.

It works with the app closed. There is nothing to keep open and nothing to keep running, and nobody taps on the Watch itself: it only receives. Turn the speaker on and it reads the sentence out loud in your child's own Tala voice.

It does not matter which device your child taps on, an iPhone or an iPad, as long as it is signed in to the same Tala account.

Setting up takes a minute. Open Tala on your Watch, it shows six numbers, and you type them into Tala on your phone under Parent Mode. That is the whole setup.

Tala is free to use, and this app needs the Tala app and a Tala account.
