## What is TALA?

Tala is the practice manager for independent aesthetics clinics, salons, barbershops, nail bars, lash and brow studios, tattoo parlours, and other appointment-based businesses.

It does the unglamorous stuff so you can spend more time with your clients and less time wrangling client notes, consent forms, aftercare, paper diaries, or apps that were clearly built for someone else.

- Search any client by name to see their treatment history, notes, photos, and consent forms in one place. No more flipping between three apps and your papers to find a single treatment note.

- Take notes with your voice to work hands-free, so you can talk through what you saw, what you used, and what to follow up on while you're still in the room. Tala transcribes and saves it straight to the client's details.

- Capture before and after photos that stay in the client's information. Photos are stored privately and never end up in your personal photo library by accident.

- Send, sign, and store consent forms inside the app. No more printing, scanning, or searching through email.

- Sync your Google Calendar to see and be reminded of your bookings in one place.

Hi there, I’m the developer so of course I have to leave the first (and extremely biased) review of my own app. 

I built this for my great friend who runs his own clinic in London. What started as a dinner together discussing the future and business ideas, he talked me through some of the biggest problems he faced day to day running his own medical grade aesthetics clinic. 

Instead of coming up with something flashy or something that would change the world, I just wanted to make my friend’s life easier so he could take better care of his patients and clients (and of course I want to see my friend succeed!)

His clinic is called Tala Skin, and I named this app Tala as a nod to his hard work and warmth running his business. 

If you run a small business and constantly need an easier way to handle notes, consent forms, all the boring admin work in a beautiful and easy place on your phone, I’d love to see you try this and let me know how you like it.
