## What is Tales of Terrarums?

《Tales of Terrarum》is a new 3D Life simulation town management adventure game. On the new continent of Terrarum, you will inherit a territory as a descendant of the Francz family, and become the town mayor to settle the craftsmen and travelers who come to the town. You'll live in and expand the town together. 
 
In this town, craftsmen are responsible for building the town for you, running businesses, creating industrial and agricultural production lines, and establishing trade channels and financial independence.   

Travelers are responsible for battles, exploring the new territories, and experiencing the wonderful adventure of exploration.

These town residents also experience realistic joys and sorrows. Meet their needs and provide them support as you develop the town together.

Business Simulation and Personalization
Manage a new continent, build your castle, and personalize your town with a variety of special town buildings.

Town and Work Management
Give your residents jobs in town, assign them to manage buildings, earn wealth for you, and work together to plan and promote the prosperity of the town.

Produce and Build with Creative Craftsmen
Craftsmen are responsible for various industrial and agricultural productions, such as providing food, clothing, shelter, and transportation. Not only that, they create equipment and craft skill cards for travelers on their adventures.

Various travelers are responsible for exploring this mysterious continent, fighting for you, and bringing more fresh resources to the town constantly.

Just like in the real world, there are day and night cycles. You could sell resources to satisfy the residents' daily needs, and monitor their mood to effectively train them to contribute to your town.

I haven’t played it for long but the use of AI voice and artwork really turned me off. Although I cannot say for sure it’s AI, I’m 90% sure it is.

REVISED VERSION:
Game has a great variety of characters for a gacha game. I like the more balanced ratio -

Edit: It is no longer balanced, it’s fully heavy on barely clothed female characters that only appeal to the lowest masses.

The game offers a lot of promos (starting at 0.99 CAD) and events for pulling basic currency.

Edit: I take that back as buying units for 100 down the road is insane.


I love the town building aspect of the game and I love that you upgrade battle and your town in tandem. PvP is limited to the arena, so you are not worried about losing resources to other players.
The game is relatively easy to understand and has some puzzle aspects like in the voyage.

Edit: I originally said the downside was a road bug, but have since amended my rating and will be adding more words about this game.

The road bug took well over a month to fix despite all the complaints. It was promised it was a priority but they were more eager to push out characters to pull for. The newest servers are easily dying out because after about two weeks of gameplay it’s obvious that it’s just a notorious cash grab. 
Progression comes to a halt. You cannot roll on pet banner without spending money and pets give you a massive amount of power. The chat is basically unmoderated so you get to meet the dregs of the internet without a filter.

I wish I could refund everything including my time on this as I realized how predatory the game gets.
