Die Entwickler antworten mit lauter Ausreden und nichtssagenden Screenshots. **Developer response:** thank you for review, after tapping a record in the files view you will see a new view where you can add Notes for your record. For transcription you can tap the three dots in the upper right corner and choose Transcribe. Regarding the sound quality, you can use the same menu and tap "Enhance Recording" to amplify the audio. We can help you to solve the problem. ### 1/5 — Useless, with bizarre app design *2021-05-29* I bought the app to transcribe long recordings I had made on Voice Memos. This app was not available as a context option from Voice Memos after installing it, so I had to export each memo to a file, then import it. It only transcribed a short portion. So it was useless. And the transcription only listened to one of the two voices - not my own voice in the conversation, which was louder. Completely useless. This is not saving me any time or providing any value at all. If you try to record new audio into the app, there seems to be no function in the app to stop recording and then do something with the recording.....?? The only way is to kill the app. What on earth?? This is with an iPhone 12 with the latest operating system, and a brand-newly downloaded version of this app. **Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. To stop recording just long press the microphone. The recorded audio will be than available in the files list. The transcription length don’t have any limits in the app, but the apple speech recognition is limited to one minute for the moment, to protect battery life. That was my incentive to purchase it. However when I tried it out, all it did was make words; it didn’t even make periods at the ends of sentences. Please fix this and I will raise my rating. **Developer response:** Thank you for reaching us. The application is using Siri at his core, and unfortunately, it cannot detect punctuation. I don't know any app which can do that automatically. You can use speech commands, such as "period" — "comma" — "new paragraph" — and so on, which are easily recognized by Siri. As some editing is always required, in the picture, we put a corrected text with no intention to misinform the users. Let's hope for the best in the new iOS 14, which may come with more improvements on that. ## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Good value *2021-09-25, version 3.4* I used the app for transcription of 15-20 minutes recordings in two different languages and it worked ok. It saved me a lot of time as I just need to correct transcripts. ### 5/5 — Really useful and nice interface *2021-09-25* I use this to record personal notes or reminders and the transcribe option comes in really handy. I've been searching for a handy S2T for a long time so I bet on it and buy it just like that. First test looked promising but : - I can't suppress the files from the list which is probematic with file management ? - I tried a 19mn file and it failed miserably. Looked for documentation but nowhere to be found. Screenshot shows "BBC Interview"-25 mn, letting me expect this should run OK. Maybe doesn't work with an uploaded audiofile and only with native recordings ? Can you give a quick feedback on this ? Many thanks.
