It’ll start for just a few seconds and then go for a few minutes then cut out. I press pause then play and then it starts up again but then we’ll soon cut out. I had a crystal set as a small child from my bunkbed. I listen to different shows of most all day and all night since the Internet I can go anywhere and anytime I love surfing through the channels bouncing off different points of view, I especially like tuning into shows from other countries.. This app makes listen to and getting really important information so easy the only other way of information I use are different podcasts and specific websites but I have to go to Richie donut Huron talk stream, but talk stream is great for getting radio stations from all over the world, especially America and its focus like it says on talk talk radio This is the best app for it!. ### 5/5 — I Love Talkstream! ❤️ *2024-06-25, version 6.1.7* Been a listener for many years, and I listen daily! Maddening. I recently purchased a new iPhone, and still the same problem. Update…. The recent IOS 17.1 update has made the app unstable . Audio pauses when screen not illuminated. The app stops functioning! In the middle of listening it cuts off and you need restart over and over! You’re listening to a program and it drops out and you have to close the app and reopen it. Otherwise it would be a good app. This happens for a while with one radio station and then in a few weeks it’ll happen to another station . I’m wondering if they do this on purpose so they get more clicks and can say they have more people listening to a particular radio station when actually all they’re doing is re-opening the same app that they were listening to. ### 1/5 — iOS 17 Problems *2023-10-04, version 6.1.7* This app isn’t playing well with iOS 17. If the app is open but paused, a phone call will wake up the app and the last program played will suddenly spring to life and resume playing without pressing play. Listening to radio is bad enough but this app makes you listen to 2-3 min of ads before it will open content regardless of where the host is in his show.
