This is a major upgrade of the user experience and user interface. We have completely reworked the UX/UI based on detailed user research undertaken over the last several months, and we have more in store for you. We appreciate the patience of all of our users, and we especially appreciate those who contributed to the research that led us to this release. We've heard your feedback, and we have incorporated a lot of it into this major release. We also know that there is more that you wanted, and it is in the works.

Fixed a bug occurring with the Merlin Suggests prediction view on the main screen.

### 8.0 — 2025-11-27

Create stories on the tablet version with one-click. While you can still create stories step-by-step, if you want to really put Merlin to work, you can now just create an instant story with one click and let Merlin do all the work. In just over about 90 seconds or so, you'll have a complete story to read out in your voice clone or choose one of the voices in the library.

We've also added some stability improvements under the hood as well.

Stories are still only available on the iPad. If you want to create stories on an iPhone, you can check out our other app - Fable's Adventures which is just the story-telling feature only and won't connect to your voice clone.

Some minor under-the-hood improvements to allow us to continue to make user experience enhancements going forward. There are lots of new ideas in the pipeline. Stay tuned. This update sets the stage for some exciting things to come.
