## What is Talk Translator?

Keep talking across languages.
Read what the other person says in your language, and let them read your words in theirs.
Talk Translator lets two people converse by speaking in their own languages and reading translated captions.

Two-way translation in your languages
The app listens to the two selected languages and translates speech in both directions as text. There is no need to manually switch languages every time you speak. Choose a face-to-face or side-by-side layout for a comfortable conversation.

Read surrounding speech in your language
Follow along with foreign language explanations or lectures using captions in your own language. Caption mode translates surrounding speech into text and can display the original words alongside the translation.

Share with everyone in their chosen language
Share live captions for lectures or guidance via QR code or link. Participants can choose their preferred reading language directly from their smartphone or PC browser, with no app installation or account required. This online caption mode supports up to 50 connected devices at once.

Free on-device translation

By downloading the necessary language models to your iPhone in advance, you can use offline on-device translation for free with no usage-time limits. The availability of on-device translation depends on your iPhone model, OS version, and supported languages.

Online translation and subscription plans

Online translation supports 60 languages. It requires an internet connection, consent to send data, and available online translation time. No app sign-in is required to use the service.

Pro Plan: 10 hours per month
Max Plan: 40 hours per month

Both represent usage time at the standard consumption rate. Unused time does not roll over to the next month.

While sharing with 6 or more simultaneous devices is enabled, online time is used at twice the standard rate.

Each plan is a monthly subscription that automatically renews unless canceled. The price and conditions are displayed before purchase. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings.
