Reviewing the app, it’s so painfully slow and glitchy. So so slow. Really needs a big update to stay on par with every other app. Support is quick to reply but issues have persisted. ### 3/5 — Program is great, app is hit or miss. I also love the app when it works, it seems buggy and some things don’t load sometimes. Please update your app! ### 2/5 — Good program, awful app *2025-02-09, version 1.82.9* This app is by far the most frustrating app I have ever used. Any other app that was this buggy I would have quit using by now. But the program itself is good and so the app stays. It plays the wrong phrases when you tap. It doesn’t play some phrases at all. It continues to the next phrase when autoplay is turned off. It doesn’t pause when you press pause. It has way too many different menus to navigate to get to what you want, and it’s remarkably slow in loading them. Marking a box as completed takes way too much redundant tapping and still doesn’t properly work half the time. On a daily basis, often multiple times a day, I have to kill and restart the app because it has frozen or glitched enough to be unusable. If there were any similar language programs available, I’d use them for a better app. But there aren’t similar programs and this program is very good, so I tolerate the awful app. ### 1/5 — Flat out AWESOME!!! *2025-01-25* Ok I’ll start right from the top this app is amazing for learning any language. It’ll give you pre-recorded phrases to practice the pronunciation of the specific words you want to learn. It’ll give even has books you can use on the app or just order a copy online!!!! I would definitely recommend this app is you have an interest in learning more about a few phrases just so you can visit a foreign country and he able to strike up a conversation. It’s really very easy to practice these phrases and stuff. Give it a go!! You’ll be an expert in no time!!! ### 4/5 — Flat out AWESOME!!! *2024-12-18* Ok, I’m a French-a-holic I love all things French the food the scenery the language the culture, just about EVERYTHING!!! And I really wanted to take a French class but being homeschooled is where I have too many classes anyway! So when my mom was like “hey is this app something you want?” I was all “🫢😱🤩🥳😛😍🙂🥲🥹😁😊☺️😘😇😌!!!!!!!!!” Literally Talkbox is the #1 language practice app that I would recommend. It has daily updates and routines, not to mention it has pronunciation so that you don’t have to just figure it out yourself! (I had an app like that once and it sucked) I can literally say SOOOO many more French phrases and saying now thanks to the Talkbox app!
