Still it just sends a notification and doesn’t make any noise. Worthless app. Possibly it’s just a bug. ### 1/5 — Worthless *2019-08-20, version 1.0* Doesn’t go off in do not disturb mode. You have to give it permission to start talking after the alarm goes off. I have already removed it. The voice is not welcoming or easy to listen to if you choose to have events, tasks, or especially news feeds read to you. Like it only reads one news feed and seems to be random which it reads. It also gives oddly specific temperature in celsius like “-4.000000000000001 degrees C” when im in a region that uses farenheit. And it would be nice if it just read all the stuff automatically instead of having to look at your screen and tap on the notification for it to start because the alarm shuts off before i even see that alert anyhow. But the “wake up sounds” only go off for a few seconds and then go away. If it’s not enough to wake me up the talking never starts then it just leaves a notification that your alarm went off and doesn’t go off anymore. Pretty dangerous if you are a deep sleeper. It would be nice to have the option of the talking starting automatically instead of having to wake up and click “ok” for the alarm to start. Because I am partially sighted and it offered a lot to help me out. I thought the least I could do was purchase the pro version. To be blunt I hardly use it. The voices are dreadful and the grammar (English) appalling. “Good morning MyName the time is 8:13 o’clock” ?!?!? In what version of English is that ever said? It is 8 o’clock in the morning or 8 o’clock at night or am or pm or better still it is 08:13 or 20:13 etc. I was also lead to believe that it could be set up to read the time to me at any time ad hoc or at specified times. Such as 12:30 Time for Lunch. This has the potential to be a brilliant app but is poorly conceived at present. Let us hope the revenue from purchasing the app is being ploughed into developing something really useful for which I would happily pay more. At the moment it is a cosmetic app. Oh and the folding settings screen is unnecessary candy that cheapens the product. ### 2/5 — Not working well *2025-05-08, version 1.0* It’s a great idea. I wish it worked well. I downloaded and in the first 5 minutes it crashed 4 times. It doesn’t read all my calendar items even though all calendars are selected. You can’t change order of widgets. It would have been better for me to hear my tasks before music bc I’d just go to sleep with music if I didn’t know what was happening that day. Also, temp in Celsius as only option? Hello?
