I scan in documents. It says it's reading them out loud but it's not. **Developer response:** Your current iOS version is outdated for the app to work properly. Über das Support Formular kann man auch nichts wegschicken, da man immer nur einen Buchstaben eingeben kann und dann man wieder neue auf das Bild klicken muss. Schrott !! The app is not working, sounds like making a picture, but nothing happens afterwards. Pricing have been adjusted for the premium options of the app! ### 2/5 — So many issues! *2026-04-16* 1. No prelisten to voices, I had to scan each time to test the voice I wanted to try 2. Very strange voices, only few are normal human male ones and their quality is much worse than in some free apps 3. Strange UI: duplicated bottom menu, I have to select “camera” each time to read the next page in book, some strange glitches 4. What camera preview shows and the image I get - the image captures wider area. I want to omit the page notation and have to aim 3-5 cm lower and hope for a blind guess I don't see why this app has such good rating ### 3/5 — Not quite ready for real time OCR to Speech *2025-10-09* 09 Oct 2025: I am continually searching for app to help a severely dyslexic 83 year old person that is incapable or reading even the simplest thing like store labels, short notes, etc. This app is one of the closest that I have found that doesn’t ask the user to amputate both arms for subscribing as others do. However, it has its issues that I have outlined below. 1. Taking a picture and having it OCR converted to speech takes too long and this doesn’t make the app as convenient and quick as one would expect even though it does a really good job at doing just that. 2. It uses an unnatural computer generated (robotic in nature) voice and has no setting to alter the voice used even though translation can alter the speech a bit. 3. It only offers a monthly subscription and no annual one which may be ok for some; but, a constant annoyance to others who would use it constantly and would appreciate the typical discount for an annual subscription. I’ll continue to check-in on the development process for this app to see if the one critical thing, speed, is addressed making it a great app for dyslexics. **Developer response:** Hello, Thank you for your feedback.
