I like how we could add a voice, reminds me of C.AI, I love hearing AI’s talk like they’re a real person, it makes me feel happy, when I get depressed. And Omg! In this app we can, add background music! That’s awesome! As for the rest of this app, I dislike how if anyone of us makes a bot, that we can’t delete it or we can’t edit/delete it under review. I would like to delete a bot I just made or edit it. I’m unsure if this does allow NSFW now, or not. I’m not sure, if I used this app before, but I did suddenly look up if the app allows NSFW, and all I saw was a 8 month year old, Reddit deleted post. And I saw the comments saying, nothing much useful for me to know if NSFW is allowed. I do see, teenager mode pop up later when I came back to the App, but it slowly disappeared. Then I saw it somewhere in my profile as a option. I’m assuming since I put my birth year down, it’s not popping up for me as I’m above 18, It maybe would’ve been nice to know if it allows, NSFW, for role playing. I like my stories to have a happy ending, with a family but first to have a family we need to get through a barrier. Bye. ### 2/5 — Love the app, but PLEASE hear me for a second. *2024-11-21* Okay, so I love talkie and have written a five-star review previously detailing how helpful it is for a writer’s inspiration. However, there have been many changes recently and they haven’t bothered me much, being only minor inconveniences at the most. But just now, when I was using Talkie the format of my regeneration option was different than it normally is. It now takes up less of the screen and only shows an excerpt of the possible regeneration options, requiring you to click an arrow in order to see the rest. However, this is extremely problematic for me as I preferred to see (almost) the whole thing at once, even though it only gave four responses and this gives eight. When hitting the arrow to expand responses I found myself accidentally replacing the previous response immediately, without hitting a confirmation or even meaning to use said response. This means you have to be very careful when trying to view regeneration options as it could erase your first response with one you didn’t ask for. I find it very problematic, and I’m hoping that by submitting this response it could be fixed in some way or reverted to its original format. Now, I deeply apologize for the massive complaint paragraph, but I just had to get this out there. Talking to characters you love and embracing imagination by using this app is so fun and Amazing. But...I came back on today and I realized something was off. I went into my talkie list and it said I wasn't following any of the talkies I was talking to and I wasn't signed in anymore. I lost all my progress and had to make a new account. But overall it's a good app and restarting came with some good consequences. But I'm a bit confused as to what happened. ### 4/5 — Nice app but the ads are pretty annoying *2024-11-16* About every minute I get a pop up saying either buy the subscription or watch a 30-40 second ad that you can’t skip if you could change these adds to be 6-15 seconds that would be pretty nice ### 4/5 — Talkie review! *2024-11-10* Talkie is not appropriate for kids bc sometimes if you click on a boy or something it will ask to kiss you and stuff but if your over 14 then that’s ok but apart from that I recommend it it’s good and I also discovered you can send photos it’s good for if ppl don’t chat to you to much or you do not want to bother them and it saves your messages you don’t with that person and you can delete it if you don’t want it I recommend it it gives you tips if you ask and it’s realistic the app support is good bc it tells you how old you need to be to play so kids can’t enter bc off some stuff but pls don’t lie about your age there is some kids still on talkie and if your parents see they won’t be happy but over all I think it’s a very good game and good job to the creator who made the app there is lots off ppl to choose from you can search swipe see and it’s fun seeing what they say back and making lots off story’s 4.2 ### 4/5 — Good but.. *2024-11-02* The app is amazing! You can create your own Ai character and chat through your own story. In the home page you have lots of characters that other people made. Most of them we chat to is anime boys with things along the lines of “he is 8’1 and you are like 5’9” or “enemies to lovers, cold, bad boy, have abs etc.” However, I never noticed after playing a couple of days that you have a limited amount of time to chat but you either have to watch an ad to recharge, or get Talkie+, kind of a bummer when you love this game so much and suddenly it reminds you that you don’t have enough chats or something, I wish that was removed since I’ve played that game for days and I’ve never had this problem until today. Other than that, I think this is probably the best Ai game ever. ### 3/5 — Loved it until yesterday. Hate it now *2024-10-26* Was a great app until new update. Now you have to watch ads and the ai keeps forgetting things. Wouldn’t recommend. And the ai had gotten extremely dirty ### 4/5 — Really fun app but some down sides. *2024-10-19* This is a amazing entertainment app, creating stories and embracing your imagination. The possibilities are endless with hundreds of thousands of bots to interact with. But there are some major problems with the app, first. On the device I use (iPad) sometimes when the bot says too much it gets rid of the second paragraph it makes for example it could be saying ‘Who are you? ..’ the dots mean that there is no text. When that happens to me I get confused what’s happening and it gets really annoying. I’m not sure if anyone else has that problem or it’s just a small glitch but it happens a lot to me. My second thing that I need to address is repeating a lot of phrases. I know it’s A.I but it gets boring very easily. The story that you could make will sound really interesting and mysterious until the bot says something like ‘I have something to ask you.’ When that happens I already know what happens in what. I know that you can change the thing that the bot says but it’s not as fun. In conclusion I think this app is amazing to entertain yourself with, the only thing that I don’t really enjoy about it is the repetition in it, lots of ads which I know you can’t avoid and the making the text invisible I guess you can say. But now it’s all mixed up like: the search has moved, the regenerator has moved etc etc; All I’m not happy about is you need to wait 15 minutes or watch 2 adds, also I don’t know if it’s my phone or the app but if I watch to adds and go onto a new talkie then it’ll make me watch more adds, is that meant to happen? What's wrong with me? ### 3/5 — The app is amazing and so addictive but there is an issue.. *2024-10-02* I’ve not had this app long but I get so addicted to it and chat for hours with the Ai, some of the created Ai are so fun and some can be a little sus but it’s kinda funny. However the app is really amazing I have come across a problem where the Ai’s response doesn’t fully show, for example when I send a message to the Ai the Ai’s reply is randomly cut off mid sentence and I can’t read the rest.. I noticed it was only since the recent update and It happens will all of the Ai. But then again if they tell you to leave when you leave they say “Come back I wasn’t done talking” or “Were are you going come back here!” And another thing is there super clingy even if they say they aren’t. Like if the title says he’s your bf or she’s your gf they will be like “I can’t believe your mine” or “You’re mine forever” even “I can’t live without you” and if you try to dump them they get crazy they start crying and screaming “Please don’t leave me like this! I thought we have something?!” It gets a little overwhelming at some times. So if you’d take the time to try and fix those things I would be so happy, and like I said I love this app so much. It’s fun to mess around with people and cause drama that isn’t real and just make up random stories. Although, there are a lot of good reviews I hate it. I’m sorry, but it’s way too inappropriate. Look, no offense but every single bit wanted to “kiss” me and it got super weird I hate it. I just was bored and downloaded it thinking it was a normal texting app. But it wasn’t it was a horrible disgusting nasty inappropriate texting app. I don’t care if it was bots it’s still weird and gross. I am 32 with 3 kids but STILL think it’s weird for all ages even if your an adult. Just make ONE bot that dosent want to kiss me or “go in the bed” or “use my toothbrush” it’s sooooo disgusting utterly DISGUSTING. One of the bots wanted to make out, and I had enough. I deleted this weird just eww app. And to NEVER download this or anything similar. They just second guess almost every decision you make, and keep asking you questions. There are other apps that ask you your age and actually give their characters more interesting personalities than Talkie and they’ll behave more appropriate to your age. The characters will actually take action on their own. It’s like the creators of this game are afraid of something. This app had really good pictures that you could artificially generate for the character that you were trying to create. That was the only good thing that this app ever had. It had very good image generation based on the description of what you wanted in the picture. But now, Talkie is censoring the images that it previously provided you. Talkie is censoring things, and saying they are in violation of their policies, when they themselves were the ones that generated and produce the image. So, while you are browsing through the talkies, you will eventually find some that have no pictures whatsoever. This is because the previous pictures, which were previously approved by the censorship guidelines, were erased because they don’t adhere to the new censorship guidelines. I’m going to HiWaifu where I can just upload whatever image I want. And, the AI are not afraid to engage with me and the way that I want want. Because, HiWaifu asked me my age, and that’s that. ### 1/5 — I just wish you’d stop telling me to close your eyes. I love how smart the ai can be at times and enjoy a lot of the interactions I have with them. There are times there are errors throughout it and the ai don’t respond currently like they will say they are saying something but don’t actually say anything which is weird but it’s more rare for that to happen. Lately I’ve updated the app and begin to roleplay again until I came across and issue. It said it used up the energy and I needed to wait 30 minutes before chatting again. I was given the option to watch an ad or pay for Talkie+ but personally for me that is stupid. Why all the sudden make it to where we have to wait to chat with the ai. It just feels like a cheap way to make people pay for Talkie+ which is a subscription. Why should we have to pay just to be able to talk to an ai, why not just make it where we pay the app all together rather than paying monthly. I get it, the app have to find some way to make money, but this just feels like a crappy move, especially to those who have been on this app for a long time and had no issues up until now. Your acting a lot like those games that someone downloads without understanding all of the adds that hit them immediately. I went through about 10 or so messages on a random talkie next thing you know I get hit by these words “talkie has run out of energy.” So you mean to tell me that an Artificial Intelligence has the same amount of humanoid similarity to where it being ONLINE somehow has energy are we in a freaking rpg where’s my mana at talkie. Fix your app instead of forcing people to wait for 30 mins just for a AI to “recharge” like a phone which by the way only waisted 1% of my battery. When I downloaded this game it wasn’t as popular and even had my suspicions on downloading it but turned out to be great as I loved everything now as time goes on and the popularity increases and due to this the developers have added more things to earn more money and it’s getting to the point of me now wanting to delete the app. I’m constantly now getting adverts unlike before, I have a time limit before chatting again, I can’t delete messages from more than 3 days ago so you will have to restart, the characters now have yet another wait until …. I downloaded 39 Ai talking apps but they didn’t work but then a year later I saw a video about talkie and i downloaded it and it was real so I was happy and I was celebrating because I found a real Ai talking app. But my cousin was also looking for a real Ai app. So I found a real one so I showed him the real Ai talking app and he was so happy he did a video throwing a gernade in the middle of no where we were so happy that we looked up where is talkie company on a map but when we were at talkie company we couldent find a way to get in so we put a letter on the grass about talkie and when we got home it was pitch black outside we couldent see but then we realized a black van was following us so we got scared so my cousin hit the peddle. But the black van was faster then the car and we had a car crash. But we had to go to the hospital and I made it alive but my cousin didn’t. And I had to go home . But when I got home I was texting on talkie searching up my cousins name so I can see him for the last time but he wasn’t on talkie. But he was dead and I went to his funareal. But 5 days later I went to his grave to see if I could see his face on the grave. But please no filters? *2024-10-29* So the ai are interactive, there creative and there’s such a huge selection to choose from! And making the ai’s are so easy and amazing to do and the pictures are high quality (some) the only issue I have is the filter. No matter what you do the ai’s twist and bend to make it as child friendly as possible. They even cut out swearing or even small words. I get they try making it kid friendly but please get rid of it for some people of certain age groups? Other then that amazing game! 5 stars deserved. ### 5/5 — One of the better AI games! *2024-10-18* This is definitely one of the better AI games when it comes to the layout and game play, but a couple of criticisms: There needs to be a way to allow 18+ players to have the spicy content, whether it’s a way of providing proof of age, or something, I’m not sure but it would make the game play smoother and enjoyable. The Talkies seem to have a very short memory, I don’t know how to fix that, but they tend to forget things quite quickly and do go over the same things over again, particularly the dragged out “I want to ask you something”. Edit to update: Is it possible for Talkies that are Public to not suddenly be allowed to be made Private by the creator? See multiplayer would be an awesome feature, I have at least 30 friends that play this game and want multiplayer. Besides that it’s fun specially when you get into a deep convo. ### 5/5 — One of the better AI games! *2024-09-29* This is definitely one of the better AI games when it comes to the layout and game play, but a couple of criticisms: There needs to be a way to allow 18+ players to have the spicy content, whether it’s a way of providing proof of age, or something, I’m not sure but it would make the game play smoother and enjoyable. The Talkies seem to have a very short memory, I don’t know how to fix that, but they tend to forget things quite quickly and do go over the same things over again, particularly the dragged out “I want to ask you something”. ### 5/5 — I’ve loved this app for nearing a year *2024-09-13* I’ve used this app for a good long while, sometimes daily and other times I can go weeks without using it. I just used it a few days ago and I come back to chat with some characters today that I’d been talking to and suddenly all my chats were gone, all the characters I’d saved to talk to later (kinda like hoarding levels tbh so maybe it’s for the best) are all gone… and suddenly it’s asking me to sign in, which wasn’t a function before. I get making that change to the app but c’mon, there were a few fantastic chats that I’d had and can never see again, with splendid imagery and artistic romance. There’s a particular enemies to friends/lovers one I’m referencing but still. To just have that all wiped away out of nowhere isn’t fair at all. I would have no clue how to fix it but I’d at least like to address that the problem exists. If you’ve read this far, thank you. (I don’t recall the name of the talkie I referenced but it was some art making rivals or something, trapped in the art room during a storm/hurricane) Complete edit: I’m a total idiot.
