### 5/5 — Excellent app

*2026-04-12, version 26.0.1*

A speaking clock that you can set to suit you. It's easy to use, well thought out and incredibly useful. A big thank you to the developer.

### 5/5 — The first app I downloaded on any new device.

*2026-04-09, version 26.0.1*

Excellent app and works like a charm.

### 5/5 — Just what I needed!1

*2026-03-25, version 26.0.1*

Easy to use easy to reset each day not too many options which is perfect

### 5/5 — Simple but Effective

*2026-03-23, version 26.0.1*

I have ADHD, and this really helps me stay on track. Alarms are easy to get used to, and I don’t actually look at them. I just shut them off. But having a voice tell me what’s going on works perfectly for me. I even added some positive messages that I hear throughout the day.

You really can’t beat this app for the process

### 5/5 — Lose Track of Time -ADHD

*2026-03-22, version 26.0.1*

I find this app very helpful

### 5/5 — Good app. Straight to the point

*2026-03-21*

Very nice app. I cannot live without it. Thank you

**Developer response:** Hi Omsinie- You can download additional voices by going to your device's main Settings > Accessibility > Spoken Content > Voices > English. I recommend downloading Ava (Enhanced) or (Premium). Tap the little cloud icon on the right to download the voice. Once the voice is downloaded, open TalkingTime > Voice and select the downloaded voice. I hope that helps! Thanks, Mark

### 5/5 — helpful for adhd

*2026-03-13, version 26.0.1*

the two different chimes and being able to pick exactly when the ding goes off has helped me improve my perception of time and i think of the app like a grandfather clock that dings on the hour. would love if it didnt require time sesitive notificstions. it didnt used to and i found that much better

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-03-06, version 26.0.1*

This app is exactly what I’ve been looking for. It’s intuitive and straightforward. It’s easy to use and customize. I wonder if there’s a way to have the times announced on my Apple Watch

### 5/5 — Game changer

*2026-03-03, version 26.0.1*

Keeps me on track.

### 5/5 — I use it daily

*2026-03-01, version 26.0.1*

I don’t lose track of time anywhere near as much as I used to!

### 5/5 — Works as advertised

*2026-02-20, version 26.0.1*

This is nice when you have ADHD and are time blind.

### 5/5 — Almost perfect

*2026-02-16*

As a person with ADHD, I have problems with time blindness. When I really need to get something done, I set this app to call out the time every 15 minutes, which helps tremendously with staying on task.

My one and only suggestion would be to have a control center icon or widget to be able to turn the app on and off quickly.
Which is super nitpicking since it was free and works wonderfully.

### 5/5 — Hidden gem for time management!

*2026-02-13, version 26.0.1*

Edit: Thanks!!!!They regularly maintain it.
Easy fix for time management. This is great for people who lose track of time & need to move on to something else. Better than always setting alarms

### 5/5 — Great product

*2026-02-02, version 26.0.1*

Does exactly as advertised. Operates flawlessly. Worth every penny.

### 5/5 — Excellent app & the best of its type out there (I’ve tried a LOT)

*2026-01-25*

Best aspect is how many options there are to customise the voices & the schedule, & how quickly i can make tweaks as needed. Big bonus is that i can instantly write my own time-sensitive reminders for it to announce. I use a lot of the variable settings - when my adhd brain stops hearing the regular voice, i can switch voices, or slow-mo etc to make sure i keep registering the time. Or i can tone it right down to a discreet ding so it doesn’t drive others crazy. To begin with I thought it was a bit clunky but once i got the hang of it became second nature.
In theory, the volume can be set independently from your phone’s ringer but iPhoneX doesn’t let it.

### 5/5 — Extremely helpful

*2026-01-21, version 26.0.1*

I have ADHD and really struggle with time blindness. You can add wording to the times that are spoken out loud, but even just hearing the time has helped me tremendously! I would recommend this to anyone who struggles to process the passing of time.

### 3/5 — Waiting for stability

*2025-12-22*

I Like the app and I really want it to work but the fact is it seems to have its own way sometimes it's on but sometimes it isn't.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Garbage PreSettings

*2026-06-01*

Won't allow you to set the times yourself unless you pay for it, which literally defeats the whole point of using the app to begin with. Moved along to something more logical instead of an app who only cares about my money. Business like this is low quality, and exactly how you LOSE customers.

### 1/5 — Didn’t. See where there was a monthly charge

### 1/5 — Could not get it to work

*2026-04-04, version 26.0.1*

I wanted this to work so badly but after several attempts of following the instructions I couldn’t get it to work.

### 1/5 — Not working as expected

*2025-11-01, version 26.0*

“The app didn’t disappear; it closed because it “crashed”. If you had contacted me, we could have fixed that without deleting the app.

At this point, there’s no way to restore your Legacy Pro status.”

Written by the app developer.

### 1/5 — Confusing directions and low volume

*2024-11-08*

UPDATE: Seller responded but his “contact the developer” link led to a static FAQ - not contact. Have uninstalled app and do not recommend. My phone did not start using the speaker correctly again until the app was removed

I purchased this app and despite trying every single setting, they say to set - or unset - the volume is still so low as to make the app absolutely unusable. for its intended purpose. Very disappointing. If they can show me how to fix it I will improve the rating but right now - unless the phone is right up to my ear, I can’t hear a thing from TalkingTime. Everything else is at normal volume. Also, their support mail is tied to Apple mail, which many people don’t use. There is no email address given for Support just a link to Apple mail. So if you don’t use Apple mail, there’s no support.

**Developer response:** support@fortuisoft.com is an email address, not a website.

### 1/5 — barely works

*2021-10-15*

☹️apparently, there has been an update to the app so it would work better with iOS 15. However, it barely works. The voices, hardly ever announce the time. It shows up in the notification center, but not so that a person can hear it. I have reached out to the developer, they did respond. However, their response was not helpful. it doesn’t seem to matter which voice I use, it only speaks about 5% of the time. It also doesn’t matter if your phone is locked, or not, it just doesn’t speak when it should. I recommend you try other apps, before settling on this one.

### 1/5 — Stopped working

*2020-01-02*

It was great for few weeks and then stopped talking and telling the time

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2018-08-26*

Doesn’t announce time. Only the 15 min dings work. Read the FAQ and tried various settings but still no voice. iOS 11.4.1. iPhone X. How to I get my money back? Under Australian consumer law I’m entitled to a refund.

### 2/5 — Could be much better with an independent volume control for the clock voice

*2022-10-31, version 4.9.3*

When running radio, music , audiobook apps (any type of audio app) the Talking Time reminder voice is too low. If you have vibrate on, you will notice a slight quick vibe , but the clock voice is too soft to hear over your audio apps. Could be much better with an independent volume control for the clock voice. And an action to stop the audio app that is playing for a second so the clock voice can be heard.

**Developer response:** The iPhone and iPad set the volume for Alerts (and so the time announcements) with the ringer volume slider in the main device settings (Sounds or Sounds & Haptics). When that volume is set high, the time announcements are quite loud. Music volume is a separate setting, controlled by the buttons on the side of the device. I hope that helps! Thanks, Mark

### 5/5 — So far- helpful and loving it

*2026-05-24, version 26.1*

I have been using the free app and my time-blindness appreciates the vocal time announcements that do not get in any way annoying or interrupting but calmly keep alert to time. I am trialing now with more frequent announcements and look forward to the help this provides in managing my days and staying aware of myself through time. Thank you for the app.
