Good job. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Need Help *2021-04-08, version 1.4.4* I just got this app downloaded on my iPad Mini 5 and neither of my emails work, Gmail or iCloud, I have verified both email settings for both accounts with Apple Support. When I try getting support from the developer all I get is linked to a website that infers Doesn’t Exist and read the manual, and the manual that loads has nothing to do with this product. ### 1/5 — Total. Trap. DoNot install it *2017-09-29, version 1.4.4* Its a trap. Nothings works ### 1/5 — Unsecure with gmail, small and undisclosed email sizes *2016-04-14, version 1.4.2* I recently used this with gmail and had trouble getting to connect because Google gmail security considers this app risky. Developer has called out they are working on a fix for this, but that was back in 2014 Sotheby's never actually solved this problem. Also there is an undisclosed email size and once it's hit it will just move to the next email and remaining parts of email will stay skipped over. ### 1/5 — Doesn't work at all for now *2015-05-01, version 1.3.14* Great concept but the execution of the idea is flawed. The help setting says that the app knows the best settings for common emails. You're supposed to just enter you email address and password and app will do the rest. My email server is on their list of ones to which the app can easily connect. It doesn't. They did email me but issue unresolved. I'm sure they mean well but it doesn't work and hasn't for months. ### 1/5 — Several issues *2012-12-29, version 1.0.2* 1. Unable to connect - I use my own domain e-mail and I couldn't get it to connect on my iPhone 3GS using the exact same settings as the IPhone mail app. I was able to get it to connect to my iPad but that isn't going to do me much good while on the road. 2. Once connected on the iPad I had issues deleting messages. When using gestures to delete and confirm. The screen would not refresh with the next message. I therefore thought it hadn't deleted the message. I tried again (a couple more times) with the same results. I then went back to the inbox list and discovered it had deleted the next few messages. I knew that because the message count dropped. I have no idea what the deleted messages were. ### 2/5 — Talker Stopped Working *2016-04-18, version 1.4.2* I purchased Talker over the weekend and the first day I used it, it worked great. I went ahead and purchased the monthly subscription for $1.99. I tried to open it today and it opens, says "Hello," then immediately shuts down. Not sure what is wrong with it. I restarted my phone and still no improvement in functionality. Good app when it works; terrible if it doesn't. Please fix this issue or tell me what I'm doing wrong. Thanks! ### 3/5 — Almost, but not Quite. *2013-01-02, version 1.0.2* I was easily able to setup both my Google Apps accounts with Talkler with manual configuration. Having Talkler read my email to me seemed great. However, Talkler don't use the built-in dictation feature for replies, as I thought it would. Replies are sent as links to recorded audio files. Misses the mark. If it used the dictation capabilities, I would have bought a year of Talkler Pro on the spot. ### 4/5 — Intuitive! *2017-06-02, version 1.4.4* Talker is very easy and intuitive for me in reading my email accounts faster. It has some issues. My main issue now is that I wish I did more than voice replies. Sometimes it wouldn't be the professional response in a business setting. ### 4/5 — Love the setup ease and scrolling *2016-11-16, version 1.4.4* The setup on this was very fast and easy. The scrolling is pretty nice as well as it reads your texts. Interface is a little fuzzy but it's more for your ears than eyes and that's what it really well done with this app. **Developer response:** Happy that setup was fast and easy! But sorry the interface is looking "fuzzy" for you. Are you on an iPad perhaps?
