But did not like it, deleted it from my phone within same day, and cancelled email subscription two days after, however on seventh day of the 7-day free trial period, my credit card was still charged by NZD$399 through Apple Pay, I did not receive an receipt and any email communication regarding this charge. I noticed it that was when I looked my bank statement. I even could not recall what this charge was for at first sight. Have spoken my bank, it has been 15days, still have not got my money back. Do not know how to contact this app’ company, there is even no proper contact information for customers. This App is absolute money stealing and fraud. NEVER NERVER try this App, you will be taken money from this App without your notice, you will lose money. ### 1/5 — El *2025-04-17, version 1.6.3* Very bad app In this chat wrote the same word over and over again for the whole conversation and did not record what was said don’t buy this app. ### 1/5 — Limited and expensive *2024-12-13* Overpriced and buggy. Developer keeps limiting features. Avoid **Developer response:** Hey! We appreciate the feedback and we’re sorry our app disappointed you. You’re right that we recently added a lifetime usage limit to free accounts. The free plan was always intended as “try before you buy” and since we added a free trial, the role of the free plan has decreased. That being said, we’d like to point out we’ve recently done the exact opposite for paid users, increasing their recording limit from 20 mins per note to 2h per note. That’s a 6x increase over night! ### 1/5 — Unreliable and glitchy *2024-04-16* At first the app was wonderful and I started keeping daily notes. Then it stopped transcribing my audio multiple times so I would re-record the same audio note over and over and it would not transcribe a single word. Then I tried to open the app today and it won’t open at all. I installed an update to see if that would help and I’m still getting random developer code errors. So now I’ve lost what notes I did have saved. What a joke. Would NOT recommend. ### 3/5 — Very good app overall *2024-06-03* It captures notes well and has various features to produce all sorts of different note formats. Problem I’m having is that, even with the highest pro package, my recordings that should be able to go through 120 mins, still get cutoff at the 20 minute mark. The recording cuts off completely and all is lost. It’s very frustrating when most of my meetings are I’ve 20 mins, the package clearly shows pro level and 120 minute recordings, yet it just doesn’t work after 20 minutes even though I have plenty of credits. This needs to be fixed asap and then I can upgrade my review score to 5 stars. **Developer response:** Thank you for the review! We found an issue causing the iPhone app to crash during long recordings. This has been fixed in the latest version, 1.3.8. However, here’s a couple of issues with the app: • You can’t speak additional notes to existing note. • There’s no AI to expand an existing note. **Developer response:** Thank you for the review! Now I concentrate on what is being said and let TalkNotes take the notes providing a summary, bullet points, and transcript. Customize in plain English. Amazing customer support. I tried TalkNotes skeptically, but it is amazing, it captures a great summary and, more important, a list of the key points raised. I’d say it captures >90% of what was said and decided. I only attend one “stand up” meeting a day, but this is worth its weight in gold.. The quality is insanely good and it always summarizes everything in the way that I’d like it to. The developer has been a great innovator & we’re grateful for this service. ### 5/5 — Last update = perfection *2024-07-03* Nico and team have worked to steadily expand and improve this app over the last year, and it shows. The most recent update brings my final wish to reality and I’m happy to give this app five stars. It now records flawlessly in the background, and upload reliability is great.
