## What is Talksy?

Talksy – Learn by Speaking

Talksy is a simple language app built around one idea:

If you want to learn a language, you should probably spend some time speaking it.
That's it. Nothing More. Nothing less.

Learn English, French, German, Italian and Spanish in any combination, from complete beginner to A2 level. It's suitable for children, teenagers, adults and anyone who has ever rehearsed a sentence perfectly in their head, only to immediately forget every word upon meeting an actual human being.

LISTEN TO YOURSELF

Talksy will give you a score, but your own ears are still the best judge. Listen to yourself before moving on — if it doesn't sound right, try again.

PLENTY OF COURSES INCLUDED

There are plenty of courses included. My favourite is "A New Arrival". My wife says it's a disgrace. Several friends have used stronger words. Give it a try and decide for yourself.

CREATE YOUR OWN LESSONS

Preparing for an oral exam? Write your own script, practise your answers and listen back to them on the bus, while walking the dog or while lying in bed.

COMPLETELY FREE

No ads.

No tracking.

No subscriptions.

No premium tier.

Just some conversations, some voices and hopefully a useful way to learn a language.

If you enjoy it, brilliant. If it helps you pass an oral exam, even better. If you still freeze up when someone actually speaks to you, well, we tried.
