I’ve been trying to change my WiFi password for over three weeks now. Talk talk have tried for me as well they are a joke. I’m running my contract out and leaving this pile of crap company. The WiFi speed is slower than a tortoise absolutely unhappy with this setup. **Developer response:** Dear customer Our Online Defence app is an antivirus protection and has never been designed to change the router Wi-Fi password. You can visit the TalkTalk's community for details on how to manage the router settings. https://community.talktalk.co.uk/ Thanks Product Management Team ### 1/5 — Not fit for use *2018-01-16* I can access all the settings but no matter what I block,the sites can all be accessed still,but within the apps they lose some functionality. Eg Instagram was blocked easily by my previous provider,but I’ve blocked it,my kids can access it continuously but if they try to browse through a link,they cannot. But once you switch to other companie they call like crazy, two rings and off after they say you don’t pick up. Scare me terminate charge, no worries we see you in consumer court, will see who’s braking the contract. ### 1/5 — Broken *2022-06-27* Trying to login using this app. Error messages vary between 'something went wrong, try again later' or 'email or password incorrect'. So I go directly to the TT website and login using the very same details, with no problem at all. I've even deleted and reinstalled the app. So, what's the purpose of the app? ### 1/5 — Struggling to understand *2021-11-16* UPDATE: customer service is terrible no help ,so will be canceling, I assume you have to use fsecure search engine to use this feature to be secure???? To much faffing about !!!! Uninstalling & canceling service 😩 Doesn’t scan etc it hasn’t blocked any scam websites etc??? What’s the point in using it????? The old account meant to be shutdown as I’ve been told but somehow is still there, making my life hard... Yeah, app is rejecting my login just like that. ### 1/5 — This is a joke *2019-07-14* The online safari search lets me sign into my account. The app does not. It says account suspended and there is no option to do anything. For an internet provider not able to get the App right does not bode well for any broadband they intend to provide. Maybe they don’t want to retain their customers ### 1/5 — Can’t even log in *2019-07-09* I have tried numerous times to log in but doesn’t recognise the pass word I use to log into my main account, I see people were having the same problems over 12 months ago. They must be too busy to fix the problem. ### 1/5 — Won’t recognise TalkTalk password. Never sends email reset *2019-02-16* Don’t bother with this app, it’s even worse than the original TalkTalk app. Wish I’d never switched. Worse service provider ever! Don’t even go there. Should be an option to leave zero stars. App will not log in. Setup from within the TT account, same, retry resetting password 5 times, no email. Why offer this great protection that’s total garbage. No doubt when you click the £2/month option you’ll get to login. ### 1/5 — Rubbish *2018-06-06* This app is awful. You can’t even see the login page properly as it has a logo all over it. I can’t log in s I have only one licence apparently but not able to release the licence as the click on button doesn’t work. Transitions could be smoother with fades and different window movements but who cares when you can buy, bank and trade safely with this easy to use app from Talk Talk. It does what it does which is keeping me safe.
