### 2/5 — Awful Security

*2026-07-02*

They got hacked and exposed security keys to the Twilio accounts of all their customers. I rotated my keys now I can’t add my account back in. This developer needs to get it together and deliver a proper app if they are planning to continue to charge money for it.

### 3/5 — App is sluggish

*2026-01-22, version 8.3.2*

Looks like a great app, but is there any solution to the sluggishness? Clicking on inbound messages takes a couple seconds to load up.

### 4/5 — Reliable and Easy to Use

*2025-12-02*

I've been using Talkyto for a few months now, and it's been incredibly reliable. The app works smoothly for both calls and texts, and I appreciate the high-quality audio during calls. Plus, the notifications keep me on top of my messages. Definitely a must-have tool for any business!

### 3/5 — Quite buggy but okay overall

*2025-09-24*

Be good to have an auto dialler feature where you can upload a CSV to call through

Tried to pay monthly but it seems like that doesn’t work and you have to pay yearly- please fix monthly billing and I’ll download again

**Developer response:** Hi,
Thanks for your feedback and suggestions!

Monthly subscriptions should work just like yearly ones, so there shouldn’t be any issues. If you experienced a problem while trying to subscribe monthly, please contact us—we’d be happy to look into it and assist.

We also appreciate your idea about the auto dialer feature with CSV upload. It's a great suggestion, and we’ll definitely consider it for future updates.

Best regards,
The Talkyto Team

### 1/5 — Notifications Don’t Work

*2025-08-16*

It’s like we’re doing an Easter egg hunt every time we get an alert. We hear there’s some kind of an alert, but we don’t know what the alert is. It can take 2 to 3 minutes to refresh all the settings and look through all of our numbers to see which one has a text message. This is such a frustrating experience.

**Developer response:** Hi,
Thank you for your feedback, and we're sorry for the frustrating experience. We’ll definitely look into this behavior and work on improving it. Feel free to contact us with more details—this would help us resolve your issue faster.

Best regards,
The Talkyto Team

### 4/5 — Testing for now

### 1/5 — Somebody out this app out of its misery, please

*2025-07-15*

I have been using this app for a few years now to manage phone numbers for my business. Unfortunately, there do not appear to be better options available for using Twilio phone numbers. This application supports text messaging, phone calls, and media messages. However, it is full of bugs and quality of life problems. For example, new text messages rarely appear in threads, requiring you to manually refresh the thread to see new messages. Similarly, it seems that every new version of iOS breaks the notification system for this application, and I spontaneously start missing incoming phone calls and text messages. The support team will acknowledge the problem, but will make no effort to contact users proactively when the issue arises. The application also occasionally spontaneously deletes all of my Twilio API data, meaning I have to log back into Twilio and copy everything over, with downtime of unknown duration occurring without my knowledge. I wish that there was a better alternative, but for now this is all that there is.

Support for Twilio numbers is a ripe area for a competitor to put this app completely out of business. And I won’t be upset about it.

**Developer response:** Hi,
Thank you for your honest feedback—we genuinely appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
We understand the frustrations you’ve mentioned, and I want to assure you that we are continuously working to improve the stability and performance of Talkyto. Some issues, such as periodic disruptions with iOS notifications and voice call handling, are influenced by changes in Apple’s and Twilio’s systems. Unfortunately, due to the nature of voice certificates, occasional refreshes are sometimes unavoidable. However, we are actively working with both Apple and Twilio to minimize these disruptions and reduce the need for manual refreshing.
Our goal is to resolve these issues as quickly as possible and improve overall reliability.

Thank you again for using Talkyto. Your feedback helps us improve, and we hope you’ll notice steady improvements over time. If you have any specific suggestions or encounter issues in the future, feel free to reach out directly—we're always here to listen and help.

Best regards,
 The Talkyto Team

### 1/5 — Bug Infested

*2025-06-06*

The only thing that consistently works on this app is the SMS. You consistently have to reset the setting to receive and make outbound calls. It also freezes up when opening the app.

### 1/5 — App wont open

*2025-05-29*

I installed Talkyto as I transferred my skype number to twilio. I clicked on the app, and the main red screen appeared with notification of “allow all contacts…” and “enable notification…”. and I pressed yes for both, but from there on, the main screen won’t change, and the red screen with Talkyto written just keep on appearing on screen and doesn’t change even after few minutes…..

**Developer response:** Hi,

Thank you for reaching out and letting us know about the issue.

We’ve released a new version of the Talkyto app that resolves this problem. Please update the app to the latest version via the App Store and it should work correctly from there.

If the issue continues after updating, feel free to contact us - we’re here to help!

Best regards,
The Talkyto Team

### 1/5 — Service hacked, large Twilio bill

*2026-07-14, version 8.4.8*

This service was hacked (see their press release from June 30, 2026)- and thousands of dollars in fraudulent charges were accrued to my Twilio account

### 1/5 — Suspicious

*2026-07-01, version 8.4.7*

Had things happen to my personal Twilio account that did not indicate honest business procedures.

### 1/5 — API keys compromised

*2026-06-11, version 8.4.6*

I connected my twilio and then forgot about it and then I got a 3900 bill from twilio, talkyto was the only service that twilio was connected to.

### 1/5 — The worries app phone system you can get

*2026-05-04, version 8.4.3*

The worries app phone system you can get . So many issues, I want a client Ben calling us and we get only missed phone call the app does not give any notification

### 1/5 — Useless app

*2026-04-12*

Crashed my iPhone first time I tried to make a call using the app

**Developer response:** Hi there,
We're so sorry to hear the app caused issues on your iPhone the very first time you tried it — that's definitely not the experience we want for you. Please reach out to us at support@talkyto.com with your iOS version, account info and device model, so our team can investigate and get this sorted for you. Thanks for giving Talkyto a try, and we hope to make it right.

### 1/5 — Unsustainable

*2026-04-10*

I connected my Twilio account and completed the initial steps, but the app gets stuck on the “Configure Your Twilio Account” screen with all items still showing as unconfigured.

This is especially frustrating because the app relies on these configurations for calling functionality, and as a result, I’m missing incoming calls. That’s not a minor bug, that’s a core reliability issue.

Additionally, the setup flow doesn’t match the documentation. The docs mention login options (like Apple/Google), but the app never prompts for those. It’s unclear whether SSO is expected, supported, or just poorly documented.

Overall, Setup is unclear and inconsistent with docs, Configuration does not complete successfully, Core functionality (calls) becomes unreliable.

Until this is fixed, the app can’t be trusted for anything critical.

**Developer response:** Hello,

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We're sorry the setup experience was frustrating — we take reliability very seriously and understand how critical calling functionality is.

Regarding the configuration screen showing all items as unconfigured — this can happen if the configuration process wasn't fully completed or if a connection issue occurred during setup. We'd like to help you resolve this directly.

As for the login options — Apple and Google sign-in are available on the initial login screen. The service account configuration is a separate step that connects your Twilio account to TalkyTo. We'll review our documentation to make this distinction clearer.

We'd love to help you get everything working. Please reach out to us at support@talkyto.com with your Device ID (found in Settings → Help & Support) and we'll walk you through the setup personally.

Kind regards,
Ilija
Talkyto Team

### 1/5 — No good

*2026-03-27*

I spent hours trying to connect my twillio phone number. I finally got it, it worked . Shortly after the app stop opening I deleted app and downloaded it again. Still can’t open. This has created a huge inconvenience for me

**Developer response:** Hello,

We're sorry to hear about your experience. TalkyTo requires a one-time configuration of your Twilio account to enable calls and messaging — without completing this setup, the app's features won't be available.

If you need any help with the setup, please reach out to us at support@talkyto.com and we'll walk you through it step by step.

Kind regards,
Talkyto Team

### 1/5 — Reconfigured twilio account, then threw up paywall

*2025-12-30, version 8.3.2*

Shoddy

### 1/5 — Funcionou por apenas 1 dia

*2025-12-12*

### 1/5 — Do not use they hacked my twilio account

*2025-10-23*

This app is awful and they treat security like a joke. My credentials that I made just for the app were compromised and resulted in about $300 In charges. I caught it within an hour but if I hadn’t I can’t even imagine what it would have amounted to. The app support has not responded to my ticket about this either

### 5/5 — Fixing issues, Getting better!

*2025-09-03*

Many concerns are now resolved and this is becoming a valuable part of our telephony tech stack. I have used this individually for months, testing it out, and I used to hesitate to add team members due to the UI glitches that would give me more tech support work than desired. But many of the prior concerns noted are not a problem any longer. This works a lot better and switching from Wi-Fi to cellular data no longer crashes the app or causes follow up calls to fail without a force reboot of the app.

**Developer response:** Hi,
Thank you so much for the 5-star review and thoughtful feedback! We're delighted to hear that the recent improvements have made a difference and that Talkyto is becoming a valuable part of your tech stack.

We truly appreciate your continued support—and if you ever have more feedback or ideas, we’re always here to listen.

Best regards,
The Talkyto Team
