Today I noticed that each page now displays as a blurred image which transforms into a clear image. That is hard on my eyes, as they naturally try to focus to read the words. So frustrating. I call and talk to someone at the Democrat who is absolutely no help. Maybe if I go in person. Sad it may require that to get resolution but then again are talking about the Tallahassee Democrat. I would like to be able to view one page instead of two side by side. I don’t see any way to change this. It will work for a few pages then crash again. Sometimes it’s okay for most all of print pages. When I open the app again, it usually begins at the article I previously clicked. Nevertheless, it’s very aggravating and shouldn’t happen. I expected it would be fixed by now but there is no evidence of a new version. ### 2/5 — What a mess *2019-12-13, version 2.9.10* In recent months, this app freezes almost daily and repeatedly. Killing and relaunching sometimes works but not always. Turning iPad off and back on likewise. Today I tried all of this with no luck. I pay more for the TD than I do for The New York Times. This needs to be fixed ASAP! ### 2/5 — Crashing and freezing nightmare *2019-11-29, version 2.9.10* This app used to work fairly consistently with a few minor quirks. In the last week it is almost impossible to read due to freezing, locking up and just not opening. I frequently get the “not connected to internet” message when all other applications run smoothly. Logs me out and leaves me with a blank white page when I try to change editions, formats, or help. Please fix this as I find the web edition too busy and cluttered to read. ### 3/5 — Annoying issue loading images *2022-03-12, version 3.6.05* This app works fairly well to provide a printed edition experience. However over a couple years I notice a consistent issue of the app going offline and not loading full resolution images and comics. Very easy to use. Plus, you have access to many other newspapers owned by Gannett, including USA Today.
