## What is Tallied?

Tallied does the math for you. Simply track what happens: tricks taken, dice rolled, or darts thrown. The app automatically calculates points, rankings, and winners – even if no one at the table knows the complex scoring rules.

Supported Games:
• Card games: Doppelkopf, Skat, Schafkopf, Watten, Jass, Sixty-Six, Canasta, Rummy, Phase Rummy, Card Golf, Hearts, Thirty-One, Mau-Mau, How Many Tricks?, Discard!
• Dice, board & tile games: Dice Fun, Schocken, Mia, Cross Rows, Ten Thousand, Backgammon, Chess, Checkers, Mill, Rummy Tiles, Castles & Roads
• Darts: X01, Cricket, Around the Clock, Shanghai, Killer, Halve-It, Bob's 27, and Count-Up
• Ninepins, bowling, mini golf, boules, Finnish skittles, and Viking chess
• Table tennis and table soccer (foosball)
• Party & trivia games: City, Country, River and Word Guessing

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5.0 — 2026-10-31

• Full iPad Support: Tallied is now optimized for iPad in both portrait and landscape. Scoreboard and input controls sit neatly side by side, perfectly legible for everyone around the table.
• Ten Thousand: Simply tap the dice you hold; the app automatically tallies triples, straights, and the required entry score.
• City, Country, River: Roll a letter, run the timer, and score with a single tap for duplicate or unique answers. Custom categories supported.
• Word Guessing: Team party mode with a digital sand timer. The app picks who explains next and can alternate between explaining, sketching, and pantomime.
• Board, Table & Outdoor: Chess, checkers, and mill with an integrated chess clock, table tennis and table soccer played in sets, plus Viking chess and Finnish skittles (12 pins).
• Expanded Cards & Darts: Added Sixty-Six and Swiss Jass (Schieber with declarations, Stöck, and multipliers), alongside Halve-It, Bob's 27, and Count-Up for solo training.
• Handicaps: Give players a head start in Darts X01, bowling, and mini golf to level the playing field between beginners and experienced players.
• Milestones: Player profiles track major achievements, including 100 matches played, win streaks, or your first 180 in darts.
• Season Tables (Pro): Run annual leaderboards, club championships, or friend leagues with ranking points or raw game scores.
• Voice Scoring & Audio Calls (Pro): Speak your throws in Darts X01 and ninepins; hear remaining scores, checkout paths, and pin falls announced locally on-device.
• Ask About Rules (Pro): Get quick answers drawn from the app's built-in game guide, powered by on-device Apple Intelligence.
• Score Sheet Scanner Expanded (Pro): Import photographed sheets directly into digital rounds – now supporting Rummy, Mau-Mau, Discard!, Card Golf, and Hearts.
• Advanced Custom Games (Pro): Design custom score sheets, assign points by placement, or track wins, draws, and losses.
• Apple Watch Updates: Score Darts Cricket, bowling, mini golf, and boules from your wrist (Pro), plus view live standings on your watch face via complications.
• 7-Day Free Trial: Test all Pro features for 7 days without auto-renewal. Everything you create during the trial is kept permanently.
• Quick Actions: Press and hold the app icon to resume your match, start a new game, or open "What do we play?".

### 1.4.3 — 2026-10-28

• Your year of games: the overview card of the year in review – matches, wins and play time – is now free to view and share. From December it sits at the top of your profile. All cards and your groups' reviews remain part of Pro.

### 1.4.2 — 2026-10-26

• Three new games: backgammon as a match to n points with the doubling cube and the Crawford rule, Watten for two or two teams, Mau-Mau with penalty points and the card calculator.
• Apple Watch: in darts X01 and ninepins you enter on your wrist – the visit with the Digital Crown or the pins that fell. The iPhone does the maths, the watch shows the standings.
• Standings on the TV: by AirPlay or cable, a TV or projector shows the standings large for everyone at the table, and live – whose turn it is, in darts the rest, the darts and the checkout, in other games things like phases, bids, lives or lids, plus the turn clock.
• Photograph score sheets: already played on paper? The app reads the numbers, you check them and import the rounds into the custom game.
• Turn clock on the Lock Screen: the Live Activity shows whose turn it is with the running time.
• Feedback from the app: a game missing or something not working? Under Settings → Feedback and at the very bottom of the game picker you write straight to the developer.
• Instructions for every game: under "Get to Know the Game", each of the 30 games now has complete instructions – from what you need and how a turn works to how the game ends. Even if you don't know a game, you can play it.
• Revised game descriptions: taglines, short explanations and basic rules are clearer, making it easier to tell which well-known game is meant.
• Fixes: If you use Tallied on two devices with the same Apple ID, one device now takes over your profile in shared groups from the other instead of resetting it. After signing out of iCloud and back in, or switching Apple IDs, shared groups sync properly again; groups of the previous account stay as your own copy. Skill now rates fixed teams as teams, taking the partners' strength into account. If you choose teams when starting a match and change the seats afterwards, partners stay together. A word after a 1 is now singular, as in "1 point". Statistics, profiles and widgets are calculated in the background, and photos of saved games load more smoothly. When later rounds no longer fit a correction, the app now says so clearly. A backup that holds an entry twice adds it only once.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-10-23

• Seven new games: mini golf, card golf (6 or 12 cards), Cross Rows, hearts, boules with teams of your choice, Thirty-One and Mia. Tap in what happens – the app does the maths, keeps the lives and knows who is out.
  • Turn clock: for board and tile games, rummy, canasta and card golf the app times every turn if you like – with a limit, a sound and “Next” for the next turn. At the end you see everyone's times.
  • Share house rules: in the rules step, “Share rules” shows a QR code the others at the table scan with their camera – or send the rules as a file. Custom games can be shared the same way.
  • What do we play? Undecided? The app suggests games for your table – fitting the number of players and the time you have, what you have not played for long first, or at random.
  • Get to know a game: for every game the app explains what it is, how it is played and what it is about. For trademark reasons we may not use every well-known game name – this way you still recognize every game.
  • Game nights and tournaments: after a tournament's final and when ending a game night, the app shows the overall result with a podium.
  • More figures for Skat and Schafkopf (Pro), and figures that explain themselves: the rating is now called skill; in a profile, tap the win rate, placement or skill to see what the number means.
  • iPhone Duo and small iPhones: opened, the score table and the entry sit side by side; on short screens such as iPhone SE a running match hides the tab bar.
  • Fixes: shared groups now really sync – whoever joins sees the group, its profiles and matches, and the others see who is in; groups shared before catch up. Skat counts announced schneider or schwarz in a lost game, and in Doppelkopf only one party gets the special points of the last trick. The score table fits up to six players on the screen, charts no longer cut off the last date. Darts checkout suggestions set up with plain numbers instead of small triples, the skat bid list offers reachable values only, and praise no longer vanishes at once when the next one follows.
