It’s fun, easy, but progressively not so easy. And the rewards are well balanced so that you’re not getting a ton of useless junk, but you’re not sucking for a long time with just a junky axe, either. I just wish Tallowemere would stop jerking my chain and owe up to her mischievous ways. Block, often. And don't get your block confused with your attack in the heat of a battle like I just did, ending an hour long run that I was really enjoying. I hope the update comes out that allows you to restore a saved game after tragedy strikes. At the moment it's quite unforgiving. **Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback. The main two I have a problem with are the belssings and online co op being locked behind a pay wall. Without paying you can’t have more than 2 blessings, and paying gives you all of them. 2 things about this, if you don’t pay and only get 2 blessings it’s too little but if I pay and get all of them I feel that’s just makes the game too easy, it’s a really weird thing to lock behind a paywall and there’s some other weird things locked too. this paywall also completely destroys the point of the game, the point of the game is to collect cats that are scattered around a dungeon and it limits you to only 2…WHAT?! Why??. The online is another really not smart one to paywall, this just doesn't work unless you have a friend who would get it.(I wouldn’t do my friend like that) the game isn’t popular and i can’t imagine there’s a large player base always online looking for a team mate, so it’s one of those things that just hurts the game and makes the work it takes to implement multiplayer into a game not worth it. ### 1/5 — no google login *2023-07-31* ive already bought this game on android and wanted to play on my ios but their isnt a login option for google on ios or a option on android to link any other account. im not paying for this game again just to play on my ios. get this fixed plz cuz it is starting to get annoying that i cant play on whatever device i want when i already payed for the game. ### 1/5 — Content? *2023-07-08* When is the additional content coming. And I see the game is in early access on steam with lots of improvements coming, but there is still no progression system. Of any kind. No progression for me, means no reason to play. No unlockable characters, no skins, no starting with upgraded weapons, nothing. I give it an extra star because again, gameplay is flawless, I just see no reason to play it. I’ll return once game gets full release, “story mode” and “no perma death mode” are planned, but time will tell if they offer the key word the majority of people need in games these days. Progression. **Developer response:** There is some light meta progression with the Magic Mirror and Weapon Rack at the moment. More content is scheduled for upcoming version 0.4 and beyond. As a solo developer, things take time. I actually thought you stopped updating the game, glad to see it's still going :) The game's very good btw, gameplay loop is satisfying, difficulty is challenging but not to the point of frustration. The variety in weapons, damage types, traits & effects make every dungeon floor feel fresh & new. Hope we get the rest of the features in Tallowmere's Keep at some point. It’s replay value is amazing and it’s fantastic if you ever are bored and need something to do. ### 5/5 — Mythical Demonic and Legendary!! *2024-01-30* It’s the only game I know of where you will always come across that one room/dungeon that has your 2 hour run, SUPER OP CHARACTER with 6 star mythical demonic weapons and shields that 1 shot all enemies and has 300 health, fighting for his puny pathetic life, sooo if that sounds like a good time too you, jump on in the dungeons are warm and the kitty’s need saving 😂 sorry had to throw a cheesy line in there, I really didn't think it could get any better than the first one but going on a week playing this everyday for at least 2 hrs at a time, it’s amazing👍👍 ### 5/5 — Great challenge *2024-01-27* I don’t write reviews often but man I love this game, I’ve had it for about two weeks and finally got all 9 cats yesterday. I’m a casual player so probably won’t take most that long but there is a ton of challenges and surprises along the way. Very well put together game and for 5 bucks it’s worth 15 or more so great deal.
