## What is Tally?

Tally is a simple, shared budgeting app built for families who just want to track everyday spending — no bank syncing, no complicated setup, no confusing double-counting between your credit card payments and the purchases behind them.

Set a budget for whatever period works for you — a week, a month, a quarter, or a year — then log expenses and income as they happen. Everyone in your household sees the same real-time picture: what's been spent, what's left, and who spent it.

Tally is built for the spending that isn't already on autopilot — dining out, groceries, weekend trips, the everyday stuff — not a full financial command center. Just a clear, honest view of where your money is going.

FEATURES:
• Shared household budgeting — everyone gets their own login, so you always know who entered what
• Flexible budget periods: day, week, month, quarter, or year
• Custom categories and payment sources
• Budget history with CSV export
• Simple, fast transaction entry
