### 5/5 — Worth It

*2018-03-03*

Tally Ho has 600,000 words full of jam-packed action, fleshed-out characters, and plenty of humor to boot. The replayability is strong. I’ve had this game for a few weeks now and still find myself discovering new scenes. The game also has constant references to the real world, and if that isn’t enough for you, you’ll spend ages unlocking each and every achievement. If you could only buy one game from CoG, you should choose this one.

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2018-03-03*

I've bought their first game before which I thought was alright. However, this one definitely surpassed my expectations! I loved how many branches this game has and I haven't even gone through all of them. Your choices do feel like they matter and the romance options and route satisfies.

### 5/5 — Wonderfully Charming

*2018-02-13*

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve played this through in the past couple of weeks, and yet I keep finding new narratives to explore. And every single one of them is a delight. There’s so much here and it’s so well written. If you get only one Choice of Games release, this should be it.

### 5/5 — I love this story

*2018-01-20*

Honestly would play a whole game of just romancing Rory god I love him but also this game is really funny and I love how many choices and different outcomes there are

### 5/5 — Cheers for Tally Ho

*2018-01-03*

I don't often review games, but I simply had to for this one. I absolutely adored it: the take on romance, all the twists, the laughs. It's perfectly combined to create my favorite story since a midsummer nights choice -- And for this one I felt as though the choices had more weight, which I really liked. I hope to see more stories like this, and I cannot wait to play through again
If you liked this, you may enjoy the aforementioned as well as Evertree Inn

### 5/5 — Jeeves and Wooster a COG APP in Salute of Wodehouse!

*2017-12-27*

Bloody amazing!! Not since Tin Star have I been so entertained!! More I say Dash it all!

### 5/5 — Witty and fun

*2017-12-21*

This was worth every penny. One of the top cog’s of this year. Multiple choices, great writing, good length and various outcomes.

### 5/5 — Simply Amazing

*2017-12-20*

I’ve been buying these Choice Of games for forever and while I’ve enjoyed them I’ve never felt compelled to write a review. Tally Ho changed that. Fantastic story, great characterizations, consequences to your actions in a truly branching story. Just fantastic. You can’t go wrong with this Choice Of game.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2017-12-18, version 1.0.0*

This is a really refreshing change from the subpar stories being put out by Choice and Hosted Games recently. It's funny, well written, choices matter and the characters are all entertaining. Highly recommend this one.

### 5/5 — Fantastic and funny

*2017-12-16*

A ton of replay value with completely different story lines depending on choices. Characters are great. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Wonderful!

*2017-12-15*

I love how I was transported into the 1920’s with all the decorum that goes along with it. The story is well thought out and extremely satisfactory in length. You will not be disappointed if you purchase this game. The characters are all developed exceptionally well and there are many options to choose throughout the game.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2019-09-17*

Much of the story line was lacking cohesiveness. It read more like random, underdeveloped characters and relationships thrown together in one big incoherent stew. What a waste of money. I love Choose your own adventure stories but this was by far the worst with an ending that was lack luster.

### 3/5 — Just Too Much

*2017-12-20*

After playing the sample of the game online- I was very excited to buy Tally Ho. I was quick to learn just how much would actually be taking place. While having multiple events in a COG is a must; I feel that this one had too many. I’ve played through three times and each time I’ve come to this conclusion. There’s no clear genre to the story. Is it a who-is-it mystery? A spy novel or a romance? All these moving pieces really complicate the story.
There are of course goods; I enjoyed the length of the story and how involved it got me choice-wise. I found myself laughing at certain things the MC or supporting characters did and there’s an abounding amount of achievements to unlock.

### 4/5 — Great development

*2018-07-13*

I loved the character development and different conflicts throughout the storyline based on the choices made. I also appreciate the many different endings possible.

### 5/5 — :)

*2023-12-21, version 1.0.7*

This is such a cool game. I love it.
It’s well written, playful, engaging and a blast from the past. Making me a bit nostalgic

### 5/5 — Highly recommend

*2022-01-18*

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve replayed the game so far to unlock multiple endings and achievements, I found new dialogue, endings and routes almost every time. The writing kept me hooked all day, I couldn’t stop reading.

Couldn’t recommend enough.

### 5/5 — Charming and entertaining

*2020-04-19*

This is easily the funniest CoG game I have played in a while. The atmosphere is fantastically comedic and the game adopts many tropes of its era, which I found very entertaining. Mixed in with the laughter are moments of genuine emotion. All the little things are great too, like homages to other classic CoG stories, or the meta jokes made in the latter half of the story. Great read, and a very fun book to play through again and again. Can’t wait for the spin off sequel coming this fall!

### 5/5 — Homage to Wodehouse

*2019-10-17, version 1.0.4*

Brilliant story in the complex and comic style of dear old Plum. Every choice opens up the opportunity to experience a different and often surprising twist. I’ve already replayed it several times to get the ending I wanted and now I’m going to try out the other directions.

### 5/5 — Great Fun

*2019-08-27*

This is one of the best CoG games, I’ve played it dozens and dozens of times. The humor is great, if you like PG Wodehouse’s Jeeves stories then you will love this

### 5/5 — A MUST read!!!

*2019-08-08*

It’s so witty and quite frankly, one of the BEST CoG I’ve ever read. I love this story so much and have read it over and over and over again taking different paths each time and occasionally rereading a favorite. As an amateur novelist I greatly appreciate the witty repartee in this CoG. I’ve become so attached to the characters because of how life like they are and how well they have been portrayed. Rory is a HOOT! I CAN’T believe the price is so low for such an AMAZING CoG. My only gripe is the occasional typo, but if you let a few hang ups keep you from getting this truly inspired CoG, then your truly missing out!

### 5/5 — Fabulous

*2019-04-11*

Great writing, immersive setting, fun characters. As a fan of Wodehouse, this was exactly like stepping into one of his books. One of the best Interactive Fiction games currently out there, IMO.

## Most praised reviews (3 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great Fun

*2019-01-11*

This is a very well written game with a lot of forks, you can play it over several times and end up with very different adventures. There are many interesting characters (including some you only meet in certain forks) and many options for romance but only if you want to go that way. I’ve played it twice through and there are still things I haven’t seen yet so may go for a third. Highly recommend this game.

### 5/5 — One of the Best

*2018-08-09*

Quite possibly one of the best choice of games on the market. Highly recommended.

### 5/5 — Don’t let the cover art sway you

*2018-03-30*

I’m a big CoG reader, so I can tell you with great confidence that this book is one of the best. I’ve already re-read it twice and I’m about to start my third. If you like CoG books then do yourself a favor and get this book... My only issue I have with this book is the same issue I have with many of the CoG books- LAME COVER ART! I almost didn’t get this book because the cover art looks so cartoonish (which doesn’t match the tone of the book) and it really dampens my interest in what’s probably a good book... Otherwise, this book is a must-read for CoG fans.
