I tried to use this system instead of paper pencil. When it came time to share my data - I flopped because I couldn’t make the data presentable. I don’t know where to ask questions. Im neuridivergent and kinda hyper so excuse the excitement but I use this app. Thank you for making this. I have used this app for client sessions and in my uni bcba course work. It’s a VERY VERY helpful app, really liking the whole thing so far. I’m looking forward to you guys adding hopefully more data collection options /types of realistic. I use a lot of chaining and TAs , in my data collection sheets and program creations for like teaching toddlers a list of steps to like brush teeth , put on pants ect and a way to setup tracking chains of steps’ accuracy would helpful. A way to upload or do checklists data collection for client data but also for collecting fidelity/progress monitoring data for staff being observed implementing interventions with clients would also be great. Being able to add pre-made data sheets that populate with the collected data at the end of the session that can be sent as a document might be cool too. ### 4/5 — Good app *2024-04-02* I like the app so far, I can’t figure out if there is a way to export the data to sent to the BCBA tho. It would be very convenient if I could just send her a data sheet with all of the information at the end of the session. ### 4/5 — Update *2023-10-12* I am a clinical psychologist in a public school district emotional support program with a selected few amazing special education teachers and paras. Overall this app is great for track multiple students and the ability to quickly document behaviors, etc. My only wish is that the data could be exported into a CSV file or a google sheets file. ### 4/5 — Great tool *2023-05-05* This is an awesome app for tracking data in the moment in our ABA classroom. A few things I am looking for: 1. Is there a way to re-organize the behaviors on the screens? I would love to put certain objectives near each other and it doesnt do it if I add them in that way. 2. Is there a way to track exemplars? 3. Is there a way to put in sub goals under the main goals? Like the shaping step? 4. Is there a cold probe button or way to collect cold probe data? This app is fantastic! ### 3/5 — Easy to collect, iffy to export. *2022-09-03* I used Tally Flex all year last year because of how easy it is to collect data during a school day. I was annoyed that duration data was exported in a hard-to-graph format (i.e. 3h 4m 30s) and disappointed that any qualitative notes couldn’t be exported. This year, I am dismayed to discover that none of my data for the past week shows up in an Excel export. We'll certainly look at those issues and correct them as soon as possible. ### 4/5 — Such A Great Tool *2022-09-01* I’m a SPED teacher and have been needing an app to have general education teachers easily track data in their class. This app is great. All it needs is the ability to print the data in a daily report and for us to have collaborative data. I wish I could go in to my app and add the data from when her students are in my class instead of having separate data on my phone. Other than that, great job! I can easily track on my phone while in the field and not have a bulky notebook to carry around. The only thing missing from this app is prompt required tracking. I just wish the export tool worked. This app allows me to track behavior patterns. My only issue is when I try to export the data I get an empty excel sheet. I went to use it this school year and it had been updated to a newer version since over the summer. It had listed old students I worked with so I wanted to delete their data and enter my new student, but it refused to allow me to add a student even though it said I could add up to 2 students with the free version I was using. It gave me no option to add a student. I even tried to see about upgrading my account and it wouldn’t LET ME 🤷🏼‍♀️. I asked for a password retrieval, but the email to do it never came through. I tried creating a new account with a new email, but the screen that says it needs to verify your email is just…stuck. The email never comes and then it says that my account was temporarily disabled. Now it just keeps saying it can’t verify my account. Can someone who made this app figure out why it now won’t let me use it at ALL even if I upgraded it (which it won’t let me do 🤷🏼‍♀️😂🙄). Beyond frustrated! I’ve recommended this app to all my colleagues and now I can’t even use it 😩 **Developer response:** Sorry for the rough start this school year. I love the app but now they have made it into a paid app with a monthly or yearly subscription. Thanks ### 3/5 — Overall helpful, but could use some improvement *2024-09-06* This app has really improved things for collecting data for me. However, some features that would be greatly beneficial: a website to help learn more about app or to get help when having issues, and an easier way to export the data. It states it will graph it for you, but when it exports into the excel sheet it doesn’t show the graph. That’s an easy fix though since the data is already put into the cells for you. The biggest issue is not having anyone to talk to when your having trouble with the app. ### 3/5 — There is a glitch *2024-03-05* This app has been a great tool as an SLP and one of my favorite features is that I could see my sessions of the day and easily switch between them to take data on multiple students at once. A few days ago, this feature stopped working. I cannot see my current sessions in the "today" tab and can only see them if I click the individual student. This makes it impossible to take data on all students and has been very frustrating as I have really liked this app up until this point. Otherwise the app is awesome and very user friendly. ### 3/5 — Almost there! *2023-09-14* This app has been extremely helpful to use in a pinch for new aides working 1:1 with students who exhibit challenging behavior. The accessibility and ease with which they are able to just tap a button versus managing a clipboard and paper data sheet is much more feasible a request. However, I have noticed some pretty significant glitches with the calculations. The percentages occasionally don’t add up despite the data being collected and after a certain (apparently random) number of opportunities, the data cease to be counted in the total and the percentages don’t change resulting in unreliable data collection. Also, it would be wonderful to export the preview page that shows the total opportunities correct and incorrect versus just getting a decimal point in the spreadsheet. It’s not comparing apples to apples when opportunities and duration of sessions vary from day to day. I would love it if the actual time of the session also appeared in the exported data. And I agree that it would be great to have a shared location for a single student since there will often be more than one person collecting data on the same student in different environments in the school setting. Nevertheless, this is world’s better than expecting staff to carry around and reliably record data with paper and pencil. Thank you for offering this app for free! I love the simple interface and it has the foundations for taking data during sessions. As a therapist, it isn’t overwhelming. Say bye to piles of paper! ### 5/5 — Fantastic for easy data collection! *2022-06-14* I am so impressed with this tool, it is easy to use and train on and has a lot more flexibility in terms of types of data than most applications. I manage a severe behavior program and it has been great for collecting data even in somewhat escalated situations. My trainees from a local university have commented that they like it too! Only improvements I would suggest is being able to add a more descriptive name to sessions (or show a note when looking at all sessions) and for the export to include time stamped keystrokes (such that we can look at not just average duration but record individual bouts) and break down sessions further if needed. **Developer response:** Thank you so much for using TallyFlex. When collecting data with multiple behaviors, you can add each one individually and track them all at once with a simple tap. You can also select the function of the behavior and write notes throughout the session. The data collection chart shows you exactly at what time a behavior occurred so you can’t track if a certain behavior is repeatedly happening at the same day everyday. Definitely recommend for anyone in the ABA field! ### 4/5 — Love the app- hate the sub options *2025-09-13* I have used this app for over a year as an SLPA for data collections in session. I absolutely love it and recommend it to everyone! I understand the need to monetize but please consider offering a “lite” subscription for SLPAs or BCaBAs who do not need the graphs, ABC data, or other report assisting tools. I absolutely rely on the app for my data collections in home health EI for frequency, percentage, and note taking (recording language samples).
