Been using Tally for 5-6 months now & have been pleasantly surprised (& looking at what the price of gold was when Tally first started, I REALLY wish I’d got into all this at the very beginning - I would’ve FINALLY been able to afford my first house). Better late than never though… I love Tally when the rate goes up - not quite as keen when the price of gold goes down lol. The only thing I’d request for your next update is to have your percentage Gains thingy at the top right of the screen automatically update rather than having to constantly refresh the page to keep up 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

This is an interesting one, think of it as an unlimited interest rate on money invested in Gold via Tally Money. 

We have reached out to Tally Money and asked for the app to refresh automatically set by the user -  the preferred update frequency. As far as I know it only updates when you manually refresh or recently signed in.

Awesome customer support and you even get a debit card to spend, however your card spending limit is limited. If you’re loaded, you might need to think of a plan b, when you want to make large purchases.

I love Tally money I think it is a brilliant idea and I really enjoy using Tally ! It is fun to think you are paying for things in gold rather than pounds. I am also very excited and impressed with the unreleased gains , I love watching the % moving up and down but obviously it is great to watch it go up through out the day. I had been thinking about using gold as a means of offsetting inflationary… Stuff eating into my savings. Granted, I only put in little bits at a time - it’s nice to know there’s a means of getting some of the inert metal that seems to keep value over time. Kind of wish I knew about this a while back - but it’s good to have. And it comes with a card - so if I am stuck for a few quid, I can always nibble into the reserves, which is nice.

Great idea. For long term investment. Great that technically you own physical gold instead of just another ETF tracking the price. Supplied card not always recognised at ATM/shops so just in case have cash/another card. Would be great if gold lending option would be available to reduce storage charges. Also having option to diversify to other precious metals(or even rare earths) would be good in longer term. Also some promotional stuff available to get/purchase(yellow umbrellas, key rings etc) would be good:) would be good if you could add other precious metals and option to loan gold..

I was one of the early adopters for this account and have been really happy since I opened it 3 years ago. I can spend with my Tally card in the same way I would with any other bank card.  Gold goes up and down in price short term, but long term the trend is always upwards.  I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to inflation proof their day to day spending money or savings.  I was skeptical, now I’m just delighted I opened it.

Love this app and the way to hold gold. It’s so easy to add money and view the balances, easy to save and easy to move out to another account… it’s just like a normal bank account minus the direct debits but that’s not a problem at all, it’s great to have more options for my money and being fully insured, means it was a no brainer for me to sign up… which also only took a few minutes.

Fantastic app. 
Tally Money is very easy to use and a brilliant alternative to a bank. Remember the Northern Rock Collapse. 
Everyone should open an account and save into it. You are buying real gold. You don’t get interest on your savings but the gold you buy follows the gold price and should return a better rate than a bank. You can even buy a coffee your shopping or anything else using your gold with the debit card that comes with the account. This is a great option to get away from fiat only money.
