Also one match I got wanted to get off the app immediately because he thought only speaking to one person at a time was ‘lame’ but if you’re considering downloading this app, please actually honour the concept and not turn it into another Tinder/ Hinge. **Developer response:** Hi Lola, thank you for your review. Sadly Tame has neither right now. Every time I try a new dating app I feel that it's not always that app itself that's the problem but the people using it. Also, I noticed a few spelling and grammar mistakes in the UI which I'll probably send you an email or DM about. **Developer response:** Hello Miranda, Thank you for your feedback. Un espace d'expression libre aiderait un peu plus pour se présenter et choisir les personnes avec qui on aimerait discuter (car finalement, on a juste quelques photos, un âge, et des questions assez généralistes comme "aperçu", ce qui est au final beaucoup plus superficiel que sur T*****, dont cette app se veut concurrente). I don’t see anywhere that it explains options or how to use. Took me 24 hours to match with someone but all I know is two photos, a name, and age, and that they live 11 miles away from me. That’s it. I’m not getting any type of vibe or answering a few questions and apparently now chatting. I was given the option if I wanted to “discover” more profiles. I wasn’t sure if I should select that because I thought that meant I would stop the contact with the first match. I really wasn’t sure what that meant because I thought we weren’t allowed to do that at the same time and just focus on one person… But never mind because I don’t see the option again so I guess it disappeared lol.This app is definitely giving me a headache already. and I just prefer to know a lot more about someone before I choose to message with them and waste my time or not. This is a lot of investment before knowing a lot about someone. ### 1/5 — App stipulates intense conditions/obligations *2023-01-02* Although this app has good intentions, it truly feels like a hostage situation since you’re not able to ghost your partner without a valid excuse or can only match with one person at a time. What criteria determines the validity of ones excuse? This makes the app a digital dictator. It shouldn’t be tedious to use. It makes sense that some of the requirements and features were designed to prevent catfishing; in fact, that is the only aspect of the program that I genuinely found useful. My advise, keep the functions that weed out bots and catfishes. Permit more flexibility for users. **Developer response:** Hello, thanks for your feedback! Have you really used the app and this functionality so far? Nobody talks about "valid excuse", you just select the reason why you want to end the conversation, as shown in the app screenshots, with a simple click, and can add some text if you want to. You can end the conversation at any time, and at least the other will know why the conversation has ended, they won't just disappear or never answer you back as it would be on other dating apps. I cleared my likes just to start over and see if anyone else has joined my preferences are set to a 15 year age span and 250+ miles. I swiped through less than 10 profile before I was told that I’m out of options. Seems like a good idea, but I think it may take years to catch on of it ever does.
