The first word was wrong. The actual way to say hello in Tamil is "vannakam". I am an American living in Southern India and this app has helped me a lot. This app has a lot of features and categories which are well organized. I have spotted a few “confusions” though. For example, in the numbers category, the term that they use for the word “half” isn’t exactly the word you would use for a measurement (eg. “half kilogram.”) Instead, it is another sense of the word “half” which would be used in a different way, sort of like the English prefix “semi-“. I have noticed confusions like this here and there, but really, I don’t think this type of thing could be avoided. You just have to learn the language because not all things can be explained in full detail in the app. All in all, this is the BEST Tamil language learning app I have found and I use it all the time.
