This takes the place of carrying a Tanach with you. I love the search capabilities. This is much easier to use than similar apps I have seen. My one negative comment: several trope marks are missing, so you can't use it to practice for synagogue reading.

I'm on an iPad 2 with the latest OS and if I try to reduce the font size, the app crashes. Works great on iPhone 5. Very disappointed it doesn't work on iPad 2.
As the current version stands, it's worthless. Sorry I spent the money!

This is a TERRIFIC app--well worth the money!  BUT--when one attempts to change some of the settings (e.g., scroll speed, font size) the app just closes. Obviously a bug that needs to be fixed in an update. If that can be fixed, this is a five-star app.

Drops to two stars because bugs STILL not corrected.

Great app, although I wish there was an update with more modern english for the translation. Definitely worth it, especially for the fact that you can search words and find it throughout the whole Tanach. Commentary part is amazing as well, although it needs wifi. Hey, you cant get everything for a couple of bucks.

I have purchased this app about two years ago, and the author is extremely dedicated to the constant improvement of the application. Useful, accurate, and extensive. Thank you!

(Even though I know it is probably impossible, I would have definitely paid extra in order to have Kasuto explications. Oh well, one can dream.)

Nice app but, if your biblical Hebrew is not strong than this is not the app for you. It would help if there was a transliteration and possible an English translation too. Great for when you leave your siddur at home or you’re called from work to sit shiva and don’t have your siddur. I bought it and like it, but it could be improved.

Yes, I see the warning in the apps store update area about the latest update. However, I updated from the iTouch directly; if there is a warning that route it was not visible to me. If the compatible revision will come soon, OK. Otherwise, is there a "downgrade" path to sn earlier version?

I am enjoying exploring this Tanach. A couple of quick suggestions:

It would be great to toggle the te'amim on and off with a button or gesture. This would make it a bit more like a tikkun. 

And perhaps in a similar vein, be able to toggle the English translation with a click or multi finger gesture.

If the aliyot were marked. Hmmm ... I should look at the settings again.

This tanach app is great except when you want to look up the commentary it is only in Hebrew. 

The commentary would be better if you can choose Hebrew and English. Instead of just Hebrew.

Wish that will give you a choice of using vowels with the Stam Sefarad or Stam Ashkenaz. When you press for vowels it does not work

Also for translation in English not using the old English

It does look that no updates are posted. I wish that the developer monitor and makes improvements to the Tanach application. It is good but can become better……no old English….

This is a very useful app, but there are a couple of annoying issues. The "Jump to last position" setting has no effect. It always goes to the beginning of the parsha. The bookmark function crashes the app 90% of the time (after setting the bookmark). These bugs have occurred since I started using the app many years ago (I started using the app since iPad 1 came out), and on 4 devices.

Great for reviewing Holy Writ on the go. Intuitive interface and clear, easily-read font makes it a pleasure to use. Only complaint is that occasionally a ta'am (cantillation or "trope" mark used for punctuation) is omitted; this should be fixed.
