I had coordinated to do a video call with someone at a specific time. When the time came, I messaged them to ask if they were still available. Over the next 5 min, I sent another couple messages, but they weren’t responding, even though the app said they had seen my first message. I waited another 30 minutes before sending a final message saying the I had to go to work and that we could call another day. Only then did they respond to me, saying “okay, no worries”. I asked what happened, and they said they didn’t get my earlier messages, so they had just been sitting around waiting for me to call. This was very frustrating and wasted both of our time. This is the only time so far in the few weeks I’ve been using this app that I’ve seen failed message delivery (at least that I’m aware of), but it is still unacceptable, especially when the app is explicitly telling me the messages were delivered when they weren’t. ### 5/5 — Happy *2026-08-19, version 7.23.1* Its lovely app you can find the good friend and improve language and learn new language ### 5/5 — Excelente! *2026-08-18, version 7.23.0* A great way to connect with people all over the world and practice your chosen language.
